1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the nuphy Air75 V2 Low Profile Mechanical Keyboard. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting your new keyboard. The Air75 V2 is a portable 75% mechanical keyboard designed for versatility, supporting Bluetooth, 2.4G wireless, and USB-C wired connectivity. It features RGB backlighting, hot-swappable switches, and durable PBT keycaps, compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux systems.

The Air75 V2 supports three connection modes:

2.3 Initial Connection

To connect your keyboard:

  1. Locate the mode switch on the side or back of the keyboard.
  2. For USB-C Wired: Connect the USB-C cable from the keyboard to your computer. The keyboard will automatically connect and begin charging.
  3. For 2.4G Wireless: Plug the 2.4G USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer. Switch the keyboard mode to 2.4G. The keyboard should connect automatically.
  4. For Bluetooth: Switch the keyboard mode to Bluetooth. On your device (computer, tablet, etc.), go to Bluetooth settings and search for available devices. Select "nuphy Air75 V2" to pair. The keyboard supports multiple Bluetooth profiles, allowing you to switch between paired devices.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 RGB Backlighting

The Air75 V2 features customizable RGB backlighting. You can adjust lighting effects, brightness, and color directly on the keyboard using key combinations or through the QMK/VIA software. Refer to the official nuphy website for detailed QMK/VIA configuration guides.

3.2 QMK/VIA Customization

The keyboard is fully programmable via QMK/VIA. This allows you to remap keys, create macros, and customize lighting to suit your workflow and gaming needs. Download the VIA software from the official nuphy support page.

3.3 Hot-Swappable Switches

The Air75 V2 supports hot-swapping, allowing you to change mechanical switches without soldering. This enables customization of typing feel and sound. Use the included switch puller to carefully remove and insert switches.

3.4 Polling Rate

In 2.4G wireless and wired modes, the keyboard achieves a 1000Hz polling rate, ensuring rapid response times for gaming and efficient office work.

3.5 LED Indicators

The LED light bars on the top two sides of the keyboard provide real-time status updates. They indicate battery level and whether the CAPS lock is engaged. The color of these indicators can also be customized via QMK/VIA.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

To clean your keyboard, disconnect it from power. Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution. For deeper cleaning, you can remove the keycaps using the provided keycap puller and clean the keyboard plate and keycaps separately. Ensure all parts are dry before reassembling.

4.2 Keycap and Switch Replacement

The Air75 V2 features durable Double-shot PBT keycaps, designed to resist wear and fading. If you wish to replace keycaps or switches:
