4. Setup

4.1. Installing the Battery

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the camera.
  2. Slide the cover latch to open the compartment.
  3. Insert the 700mAh battery, ensuring the correct polarity (match the + and - symbols).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover until it clicks securely.

4.2. Inserting the Memory Card (TF Card)

The camera supports TF (Micro SD) cards. A 32GB TF card is included.

  1. Open the battery compartment cover.
  2. Locate the TF card slot next to the battery.
  3. Insert the TF card with the metal contacts facing down, pushing gently until it clicks into place.
  4. To remove, push the card in again until it springs out.
  5. Close the battery compartment cover.

4.3. Charging the Battery

Connect the camera to a power source using the provided USB cable. The charging indicator will light up. Once fully charged, the indicator will change or turn off.

4.4. Initial Power On

Press and hold the Power/Shutter button to turn on the camera. The display will light up.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Taking Photos

  1. Turn on the camera. It will default to photo mode.
  2. Frame your shot using the 3.0-inch display.
  3. Press the Power/Shutter button halfway down to activate autofocus. The focus frame will change from red to green when focus is achieved.
  4. Press the Power/Shutter button fully down to capture the photo.

5.2. Recording Videos

  1. Turn on the camera.
