4.1 Mode Selection:

  • Sensor Mode: The fountain dispenses water for 15 seconds when your pet approaches within approximately 59 inches (1.5 meters). This mode is recommended for power conservation.
  • Timer Mode: Water flows for 15 seconds every 15 minutes, providing regular access to fresh water.
  • Continuous Mode: Provides a continuous flow of water 24/7. This mode requires the fountain to be plugged into an external power source.

To switch between modes, press the mode selection button on the battery compartment unit. Refer to the indicator lights for the currently active mode.

5. Maintenance

Regular cleaning and filter replacement are crucial for maintaining water quality and extending the life of your fountain.

5.1 Cleaning:

  • Disassembly: Unplug the fountain if in continuous mode. Remove the pump unit, filter tray, stainless steel water tray, and water tank.
  • Stainless Steel Components: The 304 stainless steel water tank and water tray are dishwasher-safe. Alternatively, wash them by hand with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly.

  • Main Unit: Wipe down the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth.
  • Reassembly: Reassemble all components once dry, ensuring proper placement.

5.2 Filter Replacement:

The fountain features a 5-layer filtration system. Filters should be replaced regularly, typically every 2-4 weeks, depending on usage and water quality. Monitor the filter through the innovative filter window for visible dirt or discoloration.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Fountain Not Dispensing Water:
    • Check battery level. Recharge if necessary.
    • Ensure the pump unit is correctly seated and connected.
    • Clean the pump impeller and housing for any obstructions (e.g., pet hair).
    • Verify the selected operating mode. Continuous mode requires external power.

    • Ensure the water level is sufficient. Low water levels can cause pump noise.
    • Clean the pump thoroughly, as debris can cause vibrations.
    • Ensure all components are correctly assembled and seated.
  • Low Water Detection: The pump indicator will glow red when water levels drop below the minimum indication line, signaling a need for refill.
