- Power Supply: Always use a stable 5V/2A or higher power supply for both the transmitter and receiver to prevent performance issues or damage.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your Fimilo Wireless HDMI Kit, please refer to the following common solutions:
- No Signal/No Display:
- Ensure both the Transmitter and Receiver are properly powered with a 5V/2A or higher adapter. The indicator light should be solid, not blinking.
- Verify that the Transmitter is securely plugged into the HDMI output of your source device and the Receiver into the HDMI input of your display.
- Check if the correct HDMI input source is selected on your display device.
- If the units are not paired, press and hold the button on both the Transmitter and Receiver for 3-5 seconds until the indicator lights are solid.
- Reduce the distance between the transmitter and receiver, and ensure there are no significant obstacles (like thick walls) in the line of sight, as these can affect signal strength.
- Poor Video Quality/Flickering:
- Ensure the power supply is sufficient (5V/2A or higher).
- Minimize interference from other wireless devices operating on 2.4G or 5G frequencies.
- Move the units closer to each other to improve signal strength.
- Check the resolution settings on your source device to ensure it's compatible with the receiver's output (up to 1080P/60Hz for optimal performance).
- No Audio:
- Ensure your display device's audio is not muted or set to a very low volume.
- On your source device (e.g., Windows PC), go to Sound Settings and ensure the Wireless HDMI Transmitter is selected as the default audio output device.
- Verify that the HDMI cable connections are secure.
- Device Not Responding:
- Unplug and replug the power cables to both units to perform a soft reset.
- If issues persist, contact customer support for further assistance.
