5. Setup and Installation

Before installation, ensure you have the necessary tools (e.g., drill, stud finder, level, screwdriver) and have reviewed the safety information.

5.1 Pre-Installation Checks

  1. Verify TV Compatibility: Check your TV's size, weight, and VESA pattern against the specifications in Section 4.
  2. Identify Wall Type: Determine if your wall is wood stud, concrete, or brick. Do not install on drywall without studs.
  3. Check Cable Outlets: Ensure the mounting location does not obstruct cable ports on your TV.

5.2 Installation Steps

The installation process is designed to be straightforward. A mounting template and clear instructions are included in the package.

  1. Attach Brackets to TV: Secure the vertical TV brackets to the back of your television using the appropriate screws, washers, and spacers from the hardware kit. Ensure the brackets are centered and level.
  2. Attach Wall Plate: Locate and mark the desired mounting position on your wall. Use a stud finder for wood studs or appropriate drilling techniques for concrete/brick. Secure the wall plate firmly to the wall using the provided lag bolts and washers. Use the included bubble level to ensure the wall plate is perfectly horizontal.
  3. Hang the TV: With assistance, carefully lift the TV and hook the attached brackets onto the wall plate. Ensure the TV is securely seated on the mount. Tighten any safety screws or locking mechanisms on the brackets to prevent accidental dislodging.
