4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Headset

Before first use, fully charge the headset. Connect the supplied Type-C charging cable to the headset's charging port and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., PC, wall adapter). The LED indicator will show charging status and turn off when fully charged. Charging time is approximately 3 hours.

4.2 Attaching the Microphone

Insert the detachable noise-canceling microphone into the designated port on the left earcup. Ensure it clicks securely into place. Adjust the flexible microphone boom to your preferred position for optimal voice pickup.

4.3 Connecting via 2.4GHz Wireless (USB Transmitter)

1. Plug the USB transmitter into an available USB port on your PC, PS5, PS4, or Nintendo Switch (docked mode).
2. Power on the headset by pressing and holding the Power/Mode button.
3. The headset will automatically connect to the USB transmitter. The LED indicator on the headset will confirm connection.

4.4 Connecting via Bluetooth

1. Power on the headset.
2. Press and hold the Power/Mode button until the LED indicator flashes blue, indicating pairing mode.
3. On your mobile device (phone, laptop, Mac), enable Bluetooth and search for "Captain 400".
4. Select "Captain 400" to pair. The LED will turn solid blue upon successful connection.

4.5 Connecting via 3.5mm Audio Cable

1. Connect one end of the 3.5mm audio cable to the headset's 3.5mm jack.
2. Connect the other end to the 3.5mm audio port on your device (e.g., Xbox controller, PC, phone).
3. Note: In 3.5mm wired mode, the headset's power and wireless functions are disabled.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the Power/Mode button for 3 seconds.
• Power Off: Press and hold the Power/Mode button for 3 seconds.

5.2 Volume Control

Use the volume roller/buttons located on the earcup to adjust the audio output level.

5.3 Microphone Mute/Unmute

Press the dedicated mute button on the earcup to toggle the microphone on or off. An LED indicator on the microphone or headset may show its status.

5.4 Switching Connectivity Modes
