Setup

Unpacking and Assembly:

1. Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
2. Unfold the handle and secure it in place using the quick-release levers. Ensure the handle is fully extended and locked.
3. Attach the grass collection bag (if using) or the side discharge chute.
4. Insert a fully charged EGO 56V ARC Lithium™ battery into the battery compartment.

Handle Adjustment:

The handle height can be adjusted for user comfort. Loosen the handle locks, adjust to the desired height, and re-tighten the locks securely.

Operating Instructions

Starting the Mower:

1. Ensure a charged battery is inserted.
2. Press and hold the safety button on the handle.
3. Pull the bail switch lever towards the handle. The motor will start.

Touch Drive™ Self-Propelled System:

The Touch Drive™ system allows for variable speed control. Apply pressure to the handle to engage the self-propel function. Use the speed adjustment dial located on the handle to increase or decrease the mowing speed.

Cutting Height Adjustment:

Mowing Tips:

• Mow when the grass is dry for best results.
• Avoid cutting more than one-third of the grass blade length at a time.
• Overlap cutting paths slightly to ensure even coverage.
• For thick or tall grass, consider making two passes, raising the cutting height for the first pass.

Battery and Charging

Your EGO POWER+ mower comes with a 56V 4.0Ah and a 6.0Ah ARC Lithium™ battery, along with a rapid charger.

Charging the Batteries:

1. Connect the rapid charger to a power outlet.
2. Slide the battery into the charger until it clicks into place.
3. The charger's indicator lights will show the charging status. A 4.0Ah battery typically charges in 30 minutes, and a 6.0Ah battery in 45 minutes.
4. Once fully charged, remove the battery from the charger.

Battery Care:

• Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Do not expose batteries to water or moisture.
• For long-term storage, charge batteries to approximately 50% capacity.

Maintenance

Cleaning:

• After each use, disconnect the battery and clean the mower deck and exterior with a damp cloth.
• Remove any grass clippings or debris from the blade area and vents.
• Do not use water hoses or high-pressure washers directly on the mower.

Blade Care:

• Regularly inspect the blade for sharpness and damage. A dull blade can tear grass, leading to an unhealthy lawn.

Storage:
