3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation
Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the blood glucose monitor. Insert the two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery compartment cover securely.
3.2 Lancing Device Preparation
- Unscrew the lancing device cap.
- Insert a new sterile lancet firmly into the lancet holder.
- Twist off the protective cap of the lancet and save it for safe disposal.
- Replace the lancing device cap.
- Adjust the penetration depth by rotating the top part of the cap. Settings range from 1 (shallowest) to 5 (deepest). Start with a shallower setting and adjust as needed for sufficient blood sample.
- Pull back the cocking barrel until it clicks, indicating it is ready to use.

3.3 Meter and Test Strip Preparation
The LinkSun G-425-2V Blood Glucose Monitor features a no-coding design, simplifying the setup process. Simply insert a test strip into the meter's test strip port, and it will automatically turn on and be ready for testing.

4. Operating Instructions: Blood Glucose Testing Procedure
- Wash and Dry Hands: Thoroughly wash your hands with soap and warm water. Dry them completely.
- Insert Test Strip: Insert a new test strip into the meter's test strip port. The meter will turn on automatically and display a blood drop symbol.
- Obtain Blood Sample: Press the prepared lancing device firmly against the side of your fingertip. Press the release button to prick your finger.
- Apply Blood Sample: Gently squeeze your finger to form a small drop of blood. Touch the tip of the test strip to the blood drop. The blood will be automatically drawn into the strip.
- Read Results: The meter will begin a 5-second countdown. After the countdown, your blood glucose result will be displayed on the large screen.
- Eject Used Strip and Lancet: Use the test strip ejector button on the meter to safely dispose of the used strip. Recap the lancet with its protective cap and dispose of it in a sharps container.

4.1 Tracking Records
The meter automatically stores your test results with date and time. To review past readings:
- Press the 'M' button to turn on the meter.
- Press the 'M' button again to view the most recent test result with date and time.
- Continue pressing 'M' to scroll through previous results.
- Press the 'S' button to turn off the meter.

5. Understanding Your Results
Your blood glucose result will display on the meter. Refer to the Blood Glucose Indicator Card below for general reference values. Always consult your healthcare professional for personalized interpretation of your results and treatment decisions.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning and Storage
- Clean the meter and lancing device with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse in water or use harsh cleaning agents.
- Store test strips in their original vial with the cap tightly closed to protect them from moisture. Store in a cool, dry place.
- Keep all kit components in the provided carrying case when not in use.
6.2 Control Solution Testing
Control solution tests check if your meter and test strips are working properly. It is recommended to perform a control solution test:
- When you open a new vial of test strips.
- If you suspect the meter or strips are not working correctly.
- If the meter has been dropped or damaged.

7. Troubleshooting
