4. Safety Information

Please observe the following safety precautions:

  • Keep away from children.
  • Do not look directly into the UV/LED light.

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Device

Before first use, or when the battery indicator on the LCD display shows low charge, fully charge the device.

  1. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the Type-C charging port on the Makartt Handheld UV Nail Lamp.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a suitable USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
  3. The LCD display will indicate charging status. A full charge typically takes a short time.

5.2 Initial Power On

Once charged, the device is ready for use.

  • Long press the ON/OFF button for 2-3 seconds to power on the lamp. The LCD display will illuminate.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off and Timer Settings

  1. Power On: Long press the ON/OFF button for 2-3 seconds. The lamp will turn on and the display will show the current timer setting.
  2. 30s Timer: Press the ON/OFF button once briefly to activate the 30-second curing mode.
  3. 60s Timer: Press the ON/OFF button twice briefly to activate the 60-second curing mode.
  4. Power Off: Long press the ON/OFF button for 2-3 seconds to turn off the lamp.

6.2 Application for Nail Art

The handheld design allows for precise curing of individual nails or specific nail art elements.

  • Gel Polish: Apply a thin layer of gel polish. Position the lamp directly over the nail and activate the desired timer (e.g., 30s for color gel, 60s for top coat).
  • Nail Tips & Extensions: Apply nail glue or extension gel. Hold the nail tip in place and use the lamp to flash cure for a few seconds to secure it before full curing.
  • Rhinestones & Decorations: Place rhinestones or other decorations onto the nail. Use the lamp to flash cure them in place to prevent shifting before applying a top coat and full cure.

7. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Makartt Handheld UV Nail Lamp, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Wipe the lamp's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the device is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
  • Storage: Store the lamp in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep it away from moisture.
