5. Assembly Instructions

Two people are recommended for assembly. Follow the numbered steps carefully.

5.1. Assemble the Main Daybed Frame

1. Attach the side rails to the headboard and footboard using the provided bolts and Allen wrench. Do not fully tighten all bolts until the frame is complete.
2. Insert the steel support slats into the designated slots on the side rails of the main daybed. Ensure they are evenly spaced and secure.
3. Once all slats are in place, fully tighten all bolts on the main daybed frame.

5.2. Assemble the Trundle Bed Frame

4. Assemble the trundle frame components, ensuring all connections are secure.
5. Attach the casters (wheels) to the bottom of the trundle frame. Ensure they are firmly attached and can rotate freely.
6. Insert the steel support slats into the designated slots on the trundle frame.
7. Fully tighten all bolts on the trundle bed frame.

5.3. Position the Trundle Bed

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Extending the Trundle Bed

1. To extend the trundle bed, ensure the casters are unlocked.
2. Gently pull the trundle frame out from under the main daybed until it is fully extended.

6.2. Raising the Pop-Up Trundle

3. Once the trundle is fully extended, locate the pop-up mechanism on the trundle frame.
4. Lift the trundle frame upwards until it locks into place at the same height as the main daybed. This creates a larger sleeping surface.
5. Lock the casters to prevent movement while in use.

6.3. Retracting the Trundle Bed

6. To retract, unlock the casters.
7. Disengage the pop-up mechanism and lower the trundle frame.
8. Gently push the trundle back under the main daybed until it is fully stored.
9. Lock the casters for secure storage.
