Familiarize yourself with the main components of your Beetel G20 phone.

Setup
1. Connecting the Phone
- Connect the Handset: Plug one end of the coiled handset cord into the handset and the other end into the designated jack on the side of the phone base.
- Connect the Telephone Line: Plug one end of the telephone line cord into the jack labeled "LINE" on the back of the phone base and the other end into your wall telephone jack.
- Install Batteries (for LCD Display): The Beetel G20 requires batteries for the LCD display to function correctly, despite some indications on the device itself. Open the battery compartment (usually at the bottom or back) and insert the required batteries (e.g., AA or AAA, check compartment for type) according to the polarity markings.

2. Wall Mounting (Optional)
The Beetel G20 can be mounted on a wall for convenience.
- Locate the wall mounting holes on the back of the phone base.
- Install two screws (not included) into the wall, spaced appropriately to match the mounting holes.
- Align the phone with the screws and slide it down to secure it in place.

Operating Instructions
Basic Call Functions
- Making a Call: Lift the handset, wait for a dial tone, then dial the desired number.
- Receiving a Call: When the phone rings, lift the handset to answer. The Ringer LED will flash during an incoming call.
- Ending a Call: Place the handset back on the cradle.
- Redial: Lift the handset and press the REDIAL button to call the last dialed number.
Caller ID and Call Memory
The LCD display shows incoming caller information (if subscribed to Caller ID service). The phone stores up to 40 incoming call records (with 10 digits).

- Use the UP and DOWN buttons to scroll through call records.
- Press DEL/EXIT to delete a record or exit the menu.
Volume Adjustment
Adjust the handset and ringer volumes to your preference.

- Handset Volume: During a call, press VOL/UP to increase or DOWN to decrease the earpiece volume.
- Ringer Volume: Use the dedicated switch or menu option (refer to LCD menu) to adjust the incoming call ringer volume.
Music on Hold
When you place a caller on hold, the phone can play music.

- During an active call, press the HOLD button to place the caller on hold. Music will play for the caller.
- Press HOLD again or lift the handset to resume the conversation.
Mute Function
The mute function allows you to speak privately without the caller hearing you.

Programmable Flash Time
The flash time (default 300ms) can be adjusted for compatibility with different PBX systems.

LCD Contrast Adjustment
The LCD display contrast can be adjusted to one of three levels for optimal visibility.

Ringer LED Indication

Ringer Melodies
Choose from 16 different ringer melodies to personalize your phone's incoming call alert.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the phone with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

- Cord Care: Avoid tangling or stretching the coiled handset cord and telephone line cord to prevent damage.
