If no bubbles appear, the connection is secure. If bubbles appear, tighten the connection and retest. Do not use the fire pit if a leak is detected.

Operating Instructions

Ensure the area around the fire pit is clear of any flammable materials before lighting.

  1. Prepare for Lighting: Ensure the control knob is in the "OFF" position. Open the valve on the propane cylinder.
  2. Lighting the Burner: Push and turn the control knob to the "ON" position while simultaneously pressing the igniter button repeatedly until the burner ignites.
  3. Adjusting Flame: Once ignited, continue to hold the control knob for 10-15 seconds to allow the thermocouple to heat up. Release the knob. You can then rotate the control knob to adjust the flame height from low to high.
  4. Turning Off: To turn off the fire pit, turn the control knob to the "OFF" position. Close the valve on the propane cylinder. Allow the unit to cool before covering or storing.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the exterior surfaces with a mild soap and water solution. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
  • Lava Rocks: The lava rocks may accumulate soot over time. They can be cleaned by rinsing with water and allowing them to dry completely before reuse. Replace any cracked or broken lava rocks.
  • Storage: When not in use, especially during extended periods or inclement weather, cover the fire pit with the provided top lid (H) or a weather-resistant cover. Store the propane cylinder in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  • Inspection: Periodically inspect the hose and connections for any signs of wear, cuts, or leaks. Replace if necessary.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your fire pit, refer to the table below for common problems and solutions.

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Burner will not light. No gas flow; Igniter not sparking; Air in gas line. Check propane tank valve is open; Check gas line for kinks; Bleed air from line by turning knob to ON for a few seconds then OFF, repeat; Check battery in igniter.
Low flame. Low propane level; Regulator issue; Partially closed tank valve. Replace or refill propane tank; Ensure tank valve is fully open; Check regulator for damage.
Gas smell. Gas leak. Immediately turn off gas at the tank. Perform a leak test. If leak persists, do not use and contact customer service.
Flame is yellow/orange. Improper air/gas mixture. This is often normal for propane fire pits. Ensure burner ports are clear of debris.

If the problem persists after attempting these solutions, please contact customer support.
