4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the speaker's internal battery. Connect the included charging cable to the speaker's power input and a standard power outlet. 4.2 Powering On/Off
Press and hold the Power button located on the control panel to turn the speaker on or off.
4.3 Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the Trailblazer Roar is powered on.
- The Bluetooth icon on the display will flash, indicating it is in pairing mode. If not, press the Bluetooth button to enter pairing mode.
- On your Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone, tablet), navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
- Select 'ION Audio Trailblazer Roar' from the list of available devices.
- Once paired, the Bluetooth icon on the speaker's display will illuminate steadily, and you will hear an audible confirmation.
4.4 Linking Two Speakers for Stereo Sound
The Trailblazer Roar supports linking two units for a stereo audio experience. Follow these steps:
- Ensure both Trailblazer Roar speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
- On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), press and hold the Link button. The display will indicate linking mode.
- On the second speaker (this will be the secondary speaker), press and hold the Link button.
- The speakers will automatically connect to each other. Once linked, the primary speaker's display will show a steady link icon.
- Now, connect your Bluetooth device to the primary speaker as described in Section 4.3. Audio will play in stereo across both linked speakers.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Control Panel Overview

- MIC +/-: Adjusts microphone volume.
- VOL +/-: Adjusts master volume.
- Power Button: Press and hold to turn the speaker on/off.
- Bluetooth Button: Press to enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
- Light Mode Button: Cycles through various light effects.
- Source Button: Switches between Bluetooth, FM Radio, AUX, and USB input modes.
- Link Button: Press and hold to link with another Trailblazer Roar speaker.
- Previous/Next Track Buttons: Skips to the previous or next track in Bluetooth or USB mode.
- Play/Pause Button: Plays or pauses audio in Bluetooth or USB mode.
- Presets/EQ Button: Accesses FM radio presets or adjusts equalizer settings.
5.2 Light Modes
Press the Light Mode button to cycle through different light patterns and colors. The integrated LEDs can pulse to the rhythm of the music or display static colors.

5.3 FM Radio Operation
- Press the Source button until 'FM' is displayed.
- Use the Previous/Next Track buttons to manually tune to a station.
- To auto-scan and save presets, press and hold the Play/Pause button. The speaker will scan for stations and save them to presets.
- Use the Presets/EQ button to cycle through saved presets.
5.4 USB Playback
Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 audio files into the USB Playback port. Press the Source button until 'USB' is displayed. Use the Previous/Next Track and Play/Pause buttons to control playback.
5.5 Auxiliary Input
Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, CD player) to the AUX Input using a 3.5mm stereo audio cable. Press the Source button until 'AUX' is displayed. Audio will play from the connected device.
5.6 Microphone Input
Connect a microphone to the MIC Input. Adjust the microphone volume using the MIC +/- buttons.
5.7 USB Charging Port

6.1 Cleaning

- No Sound: Check the volume levels on both the speaker and your connected device. Ensure the correct source input is selected. If using Bluetooth, ensure the device is properly paired.
- Bluetooth Pairing Issues: Ensure the speaker is in Bluetooth pairing mode (flashing icon). Turn off and on your device's Bluetooth, then try pairing again. Move your device closer to the speaker.
- Distorted Sound: Reduce the volume on both the speaker and your device. Ensure the audio source is not overdriven.
- FM Radio Reception Poor: Reposition the speaker to improve reception. Ensure no large metal objects are blocking the signal.
