Introduction

The Shark Matrix Plus 2-in-1 Robot is an advanced cleaning system designed to vacuum and mop your home efficiently. Setup Guide

1. Base Placement and Initial Charge

Place the XL HEPA Self-Empty Base against a wall in an area with good Wi-Fi coverage. Ensure there are no obstructions within 3 feet on either side and 5 feet in front of the base. Connect the power cord to the base and plug it into a wall outlet. Place the robot onto the base to begin its initial charge. Allow the robot to fully charge before its first use.

2. App Download and Home Mapping

Download the SharkClean app from your mobile device's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your robot to your home Wi-Fi network and initiate the home mapping process. The robot uses 360° LiDAR vision to quickly and accurately map your home, allowing for precise navigation and customized cleaning zones.

3. Mopping Pad and Solution Setup

To enable mopping functionality, attach the microfiber reusable mopping pads to the designated area on the robot. Fill the water reservoir with water and the provided VACMOP Cleaning Solution. Ensure the reservoir is properly sealed before placing it back into the robot. The robot will automatically detect the mopping pad and switch to mopping mode when appropriate.

Operating Instructions

Cleaning Modes

The Shark Matrix Plus 2-in-1 Robot offers versatile cleaning modes:

• Vacuuming: For carpets and hard floors, the robot provides ultra-powerful suction and empties its own dustbin into the self-empty base.
• Sonic Mopping: For hard floors, the robot simultaneously vacuums and sonic mops, scrubbing 100 times per minute to tackle stuck-on stains.
• Matrix Clean: This mode allows the robot to clean from multiple angles using a precision grid, ensuring no spots are missed on all floor types.
• CleanEdge Detect: Uses blasts of air and corner recognition to remove debris from edges and corners, pulling it into the cleaning path for enhanced edge cleaning.

Using the SharkClean App

The SharkClean app provides full control over your robot:

• Schedule Cleaning: Set custom cleaning schedules for daily or specific times.
• Select Areas: Choose specific rooms or zones to clean on-demand.
• No-Go Zones: Define areas the robot should avoid, such as pet bowls or delicate furniture.
• Carpet Zones: Designate carpeted areas to prevent mopping in those locations.
• Initiate Matrix Mop: For extra deep cleaning on hard floors, activate Matrix Mop in targeted zones.
• Recharge & Resume: The robot automatically recharges and resumes cleaning from where it left off.

Maintenance

Self-Empty Base

The bagless self-empty base holds up to 45 days of dirt and debris. Monitor the dustbin level indicator on the base and empty it as needed. No disposal bags are required.

HEPA Filter

The True HEPA filtration system captures and traps 99.97% of dust and allergens down to 0.3 microns. Regularly check and clean the filter according to the instructions in the SharkClean app or the quick start guide to maintain optimal performance.

Self-Cleaning Brushroll

The self-cleaning brushroll is designed to pick up pet hair and prevent hair wrap. Periodically inspect the brushroll for any tangled hair or debris and remove it as necessary to ensure efficient cleaning.

Mopping Pads

The microfiber mopping pads are reusable. After each mopping session, remove the pads and wash them thoroughly with water. Allow them to air dry completely before reattaching them to the robot.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Shark Matrix Plus 2-in-1 Robot, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:

• Robot not charging or returning to base: Ensure the charging contacts on both the robot and the base are clean and free of debris. Verify the base is plugged in and has power.
• Poor cleaning performance: Check the dustbin and empty it if full. Clean the brushroll, side brush, and filter. Ensure the mopping pads are clean and properly attached for mopping.
• Robot getting stuck or lost: Clear any small objects or cables from the cleaning path. Ensure the robot's sensors are clean. Re-map your home through the SharkClean app if the map appears inaccurate.
• App connectivity issues: Ensure your robot and mobile device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network (2.4 GHz). Restart your router, robot, and mobile device.
• Mopping issues: Ensure the water reservoir is filled with water and cleaning solution. Check that the mopping pads are wet and correctly attached.
