Initial Setup
Powering the Camera
The Solareye Trail Camera offers multiple power options for extended outdoor use:
- Built-in 5000mAh Battery: The camera features a rechargeable internal battery. Charge it directly using the included Type-C data cable.
- Portable Solar Panel: Connect the included solar panel for continuous power, significantly extending the camera's standby time in outdoor environments.
- AA Battery Pack (Optional): For additional backup and very long battery life, the camera supports an extra AA battery pack (AA batteries not included).

Inserting the SD Card
The camera supports micro memory cards up to 256GB. A 32GB Micro SD card is included in the package. Insert the SD card into the designated slot before operation.
Quick Installation Steps
- Install 4 AA batteries (if using as backup power).
- Insert the included 32GB SD card into the card slot.
- Set camera parameters using the built-in LCD screen or via the app.
- Switch the camera to 'TEST' mode for initial setup, then to 'ON' for motion detection mode.
Note: For first-time use, switch to 'TEST' mode to set working mode, parameters, and view videos/photos. After 10 seconds, the screen turns off, and the camera switches to motion detection mode when set to 'ON'.
