Initial Setup

1. Place the main unit on a flat, hard surface.
2. Open the side compartment to access the waste bin.
3. Insert the provided waste bag into the bin, ensuring it is properly secured with the drawstring mechanism.
4. Install the N50 odor eliminator into its designated slot within the waste bin.
5. Close the waste bin compartment securely.
6. Open the magnetic side cover on the top of the unit.
7. Insert the N60 odor eliminator into its slot.
8. Close the magnetic side cover.
9. Connect the power adapter to the unit and plug it into a power outlet.
10. Download the PETKIT app from your smartphone's app store (available for iOS and Android).
11. Follow the in-app instructions to connect the litter box to your 2.4 & 5GHz Wi-Fi network.
12. Select your cat litter type (Clay/Ore, Tofu, or Mixed) within the app for optimized scooping.
13. Fill the litter box with your chosen cat litter, ensuring it does not exceed the MAX line indicated inside the drum.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Unit

• The new upgraded drum features a 360° sealed base for leak-proof and seamless maintenance.
• Upgraded litter mats are made of waterproof Oxford fabric, which is anti-scratch, anti-sticking, and anti-leakage, making them easy to clean and replace.
• For deep cleaning, remove the drum and wipe down all surfaces.

Odor Eliminator Replacement

The N60 and N50 2.0 odor eliminators should be replaced periodically to maintain optimal odor control. Check the PETKIT app for remaining days.

Litter Refilling and Emptying

• Easy Refilling: In maintenance mode, the drum rotates upward for effortless litter refilling.
• One-click Litter Emptying: Empty the remaining cat litter in the cylinder instantly with one click via the app or control panel.

Troubleshooting

• "Pet in toilet, deodorization canceled" or unit not cleaning: The unit's safety sensors detect the cat's presence. Ensure the cat has left the box before initiating cleaning cycles. For kittens, enable "Kitten Protection" in the app to disable automatic cleaning and require manual initiation for safety.
• Live camera feed does not work / Loading Timeout: Ensure the unit is properly connected to your 2.4 & 5GHz Wi-Fi network. Check your internet connection. If the issue persists, try restarting the unit and the app.
• Litter sticking to the drum or not fully cleaning: Ensure you are using compatible clumping litter. Adjust the litter level to below the MAX line. For persistent issues, consider enabling "Waste Covering" in the app settings.
• Foul odors despite odor eliminators: Check if the waste bin is sealed properly. Verify that the N60 and N50 2.0 odor eliminators are correctly installed and have not expired. Replace them if necessary.
• Unit not recognizing cat or inaccurate weight tracking: Ensure the AI camera lens is clean and unobstructed. For multi-cat households, ensure each cat has a clear frontal photo uploaded for facial recognition in the app.
• Unit delivered with damage: If your unit arrived damaged, do not proceed with setup. Contact PETKIT customer support immediately for assistance with replacement or repair.
• General Safety: This product is suitable for cats weighing 3.3 lbs to 17.6 lbs and older than 6 months. Always follow the instructions provided in the user manual to prevent accidental injury.
