Important Safeguards

Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and components from the box.
- Clean: Before first use, wash the removable drip tray and reusable filter in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp cloth.
- Placement: Place the coffee maker on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface. Ensure it is near an electrical outlet and away from water sources.
- Initial Rinse: Fill the water reservoir with clean water up to the MAX fill line. Place an empty mug on the drip tray. Close the brew head lid. Press either the 'CAPSULE' or 'GROUND' button to run a cycle of plain water through the machine. Discard the water. This primes the system and cleans any manufacturing residue.
Operating Instructions
This coffee maker offers dual brewing options for your convenience.
Using Coffee Capsules:
- Fill Water Reservoir: Open the water reservoir lid at the back and fill with fresh, cold water up to the desired level, not exceeding the MAX fill line. The reservoir holds up to 14 ounces (1.75 cups).
- Insert Capsule: Lift the brew head lid. Place a single-serve coffee capsule into the capsule holder. Ensure it is seated correctly.
- Close Lid: Firmly close the brew head lid until it clicks into place.
- Place Mug: Position your coffee mug (standard or travel-size) on the removable drip tray.
- Start Brewing: Press the 'CAPSULE' button. The indicator light will illuminate, and brewing will begin.
- Auto Shut-Off: The coffee maker will automatically shut off once the brewing cycle is complete.
- Enjoy: Carefully remove your freshly brewed coffee.
- Discard Capsule: After brewing, lift the brew head lid and carefully remove the used capsule. Dispose of it properly.

Using Ground Coffee:
- Fill Water Reservoir: Open the water reservoir lid at the back and fill with fresh, cold water up to the desired level, not exceeding the MAX fill line. The reservoir holds up to 14 ounces (1.75 cups).
- Prepare Filter: Place the reusable filter into the brew head. Add your desired amount of ground coffee (typically 1-2 tablespoons per cup) into the reusable filter. Do not overfill.
- Close Lid: Firmly close the brew head lid until it clicks into place.
- Place Mug: Position your coffee mug (standard or travel-size) on the removable drip tray.
- Start Brewing: Press the 'GROUND' button. The indicator light will illuminate, and brewing will begin.
- Auto Shut-Off: The coffee maker will automatically shut off once the brewing cycle is complete.
- Enjoy: Carefully remove your freshly brewed coffee.
- Clean Filter: After brewing, lift the brew head lid, remove the reusable filter, and discard the used grounds. Rinse the filter thoroughly.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your coffee maker.
- Daily Cleaning:
- Always unplug the coffee maker before cleaning.
- Remove and wash the reusable filter and drip tray in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Do not immerse the coffee maker in water or any other liquid.
- Descaling (Monthly or as needed):
Mineral deposits from water can build up over time and affect performance. Descale your coffee maker regularly.
- Mix 1 cup of white vinegar with 2 cups of water.
- Pour the mixture into the water reservoir.
- Place an empty mug on the drip tray.
- Press either brew button to run a full cycle.
- After the cycle, let the coffee maker sit for 15-20 minutes.
- Run two full cycles of plain, fresh water through the machine to rinse thoroughly.
Troubleshooting
