7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps ensure optimal performance and longevity of your PC components.
7.1 Dust Filter Cleaning
The Redragon CA606 features magnetic dust filters on the top panel. These filters help prevent dust buildup inside the case.

Image 7.1: Close-up view of the 0.8mm density magnetic dust filter, designed to prevent dust ingress while maintaining airflow.
- Frequency: Clean dust filters every 1-3 months, or more frequently in dusty environments.
- Removal: Gently lift the magnetic dust filters from the top of the case.
- Cleaning: Use compressed air or a soft brush to remove accumulated dust. You may also rinse them with water and allow them to dry completely before reattaching.
7.2 Interior Cleaning
Periodically clean the interior of your PC case to remove dust from components.
- Power Off: Always power down and unplug your PC before cleaning.
- Compressed Air: Use compressed air to blow dust off fans, heatsinks, and other components. Hold fans to prevent them from spinning rapidly.
- Wipe Surfaces: Use a microfiber cloth to gently wipe down interior surfaces.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues during or after assembly, consider the following common troubleshooting steps:
- No Power: Ensure the PSU is switched on, the power cable is securely connected, and all front panel power connectors are correctly attached to the motherboard.
- No Display: Verify that your monitor is connected to the graphics card (not the motherboard's integrated graphics, unless you are using it) and that the GPU is properly seated and powered.
- Fans Not Spinning: Check fan connections to the motherboard or fan controller. Ensure power cables are properly seated.
- Overheating: Confirm all fans are installed in the correct orientation for optimal airflow (refer to Image 5.4). Ensure CPU cooler and GPU fans are functioning. Clean dust filters and internal components.
- Loose Connections: Double-check all power cables (24-pin ATX, 8-pin CPU, PCIe power) and data cables (SATA) for secure connections.
For more complex issues, consult your component manuals or seek professional assistance.
