- Prepare the lancing site: Choose a suitable area on your pet, such as the inner ear flap or paw pad, ensuring it is clean and dry.
- Remove the protective cap from a safety lancet.
- Place the lancet firmly against the chosen lancing site.
- Press the lancet until you hear a click. The needle will automatically retract after puncturing.
- Gently massage the area to form a small blood drop (only 0.3mcL is needed).

- Insert a fresh, individually foil-wrapped test strip into the meter. The meter will turn on automatically.
- When the meter displays the blood drop symbol, apply the blood sample to the absorbent tip of the test strip. The meter will draw the blood in.
- Wait for 5 seconds. Your pet's blood glucose reading will appear on the meter's display.
- Record the result manually or sync with the PetTest Digital Companion App (if using a PetLink+ meter).
