Operating
Water Resistance
This watch is water resistant up to 50 meters (164 feet). This rating makes it suitable for short periods of recreational swimming, but it is not recommended for diving or prolonged water activities. Do not operate the crown or pushers while the watch is wet or submerged.
General Use
Your Timex watch is designed for daily wear. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures, strong magnetic fields, or harsh chemicals, as these can affect its accuracy and appearance.

Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean your watch, wipe the case and bracelet with a soft, damp cloth. For metal bracelets, a soft brush can be used to remove dirt from between links. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
Battery Replacement
This watch is powered by a quartz movement, which requires a battery. When the watch stops running, the battery needs to be replaced. It is recommended to have battery replacement performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.

Troubleshooting
- Watch not running: Check if the crown is fully pushed in (position 1). If it is, the battery may need replacement.
- Incorrect time/date: Refer to the 'Setting the Time' and 'Setting the Day and Date' sections to reset.
- Condensation under crystal: This may indicate a loss of water resistance. Avoid further contact with water and seek professional service.
