Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Keep packaging materials until you are sure all parts are accounted for and the unit is functioning correctly.

2. Placement

Place the griddle on a stable, level, non-combustible surface in an outdoor area with good ventilation. Maintain adequate clearance from combustible materials (e.g., walls, fences, trees).

3. Installing the Grease Collection Tray

Slide the grease collection tray into its designated slot beneath the cooking surface. Ensure it is securely in place to collect cooking liquids and fats.

4. Connecting the Gas Supply

  1. Ensure the gas supply valve on your gas cylinder is closed.
  2. Connect a suitable gas regulator (not included) to your gas cylinder.
  3. Attach the gas hose (not included) to the regulator and then to the universal adapter on the griddle's gas rail. Ensure all connections are tight and secure.

  6. If no bubbles appear, the connections are secure. Close the gas supply valve before proceeding.

Operating Instructions

1. Pre-Use Cleaning

Before first use, wash the enameled cooking plate with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. This removes any manufacturing residues.

2. Ignition

The BIGHORN griddle features a piezoelectric ignition system for easy starting.

  1. Ensure the gas cylinder valve is open.
  2. Push in and turn one of the control knobs counter-clockwise to the "HIGH" position. You should hear a click as the piezoelectric igniter sparks.
  3. If the burner does not ignite within 5 seconds, turn the knob to "OFF", wait 5 minutes for gas to dissipate, and then repeat the ignition process.
  4. Once ignited, adjust the flame to your desired cooking temperature. Repeat for other burners as needed.

4. Cooking

The griddle's 4 adjustable stainless steel burners allow for versatile cooking. You can cook various foods simultaneously, from meats and vegetables to eggs and fried potatoes. The high-quality enameled coating prevents food from sticking. Additionally, the cooking plate can be used on a stove or in an oven for added versatility.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your BIGHORN gas griddle.

Allow the cooking plate to cool completely. The enameled cooking plate can be easily removed for cleaning. Wash it with warm, soapy water. Thanks to its non-stick properties, food residue is easily removed. The cooking plate is also dishwasher safe.

2. Cleaning the Grease Collection Tray

Empty and clean the grease collection tray after each use once it has cooled. Wash with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.

3. Exterior Cleaning

Wipe down the exterior surfaces of the griddle with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that could damage the finish.

4. Storage

When not in use, store the griddle in a dry, protected area. Disconnect the gas cylinder and store it separately in a well-ventilated outdoor area. If storing the griddle outdoors, consider using a protective cover.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your griddle, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Burner does not ignite:
