4. Installation Guide

4.2 Mounting the Heater

4.3 Electrical Connection

1. Ensure power is OFF at the main circuit breaker.
2. Connect the heater's wires to the household wiring according to the wiring diagram provided with the product and local electrical codes. This is a hardwired connection.
3. If installing a separate thermostat (sold separately), follow its specific wiring instructions.
4. Once wiring is complete, secure all connections and replace the wiring compartment cover.

5. Operating Instructions

After successful installation, you can begin operating your Stelpro Prima Series Baseboard Heater.

5.1 Initial Power-Up

1. Turn on the power at the main circuit breaker.
2. If using a built-in thermostat, set the desired temperature. If using a wall-mounted thermostat, adjust it to your preferred setting.
3. The heater will begin to warm up. A slight odor may be present during the first few hours of operation as manufacturing residues burn off. This is normal and will dissipate.

5.2 Temperature Control

The heater is designed to work with an ultra-precise electronic thermostat (sold separately) for optimal temperature control and consistent warmth. Adjust the thermostat to maintain your desired room temperature.

5.3 Sizing Your Heater

• Reassembly: Ensure the front panel is securely reattached before restoring power.
