6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

To clean the device, gently wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners. For the lens, use a lens cleaning cloth specifically designed for optics to avoid scratching.

6.2 Storage

Store the Reveal 300 in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the device is fully charged before long-term storage to maintain battery health.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Device not powering on: Ensure the battery is fully charged. Connect the device to the charging stand and cable, and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on again.
  • Image appears blurry or unclear: Ensure the lens is clean and free from smudges or debris. If the device has a focus adjustment, ensure it is correctly set for your viewing distance.
  • Inaccurate temperature readings: Ensure the camera is pointed directly at the target and there are no obstructions. Avoid measuring through glass or highly reflective surfaces, as these can affect accuracy.
  • Short battery life: Ensure the device is fully charged before use. Reduce screen brightness if possible. Extreme cold can also temporarily reduce battery performance.
