1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

Your safety and the safety of others are very important. Please read all instructions before using your cooktop and follow all safety precautions. Failure to do so may result in fire, electric shock, or personal injury.

General Safety Precautions:

4. Setup and Installation

This cooktop is designed for drop-in installation and requires hardwiring to a 220-240V power supply. It does not come with a plug. Professional installation is recommended to ensure compliance with US standards and local electrical codes.

Installation Requirements:

  • Power Supply: 220-240V AC, hardwired connection.
  • Cut-out Dimensions: 28 3/4 inches (W) x 19 5/16 inches (D).
  • Cooktop Dimensions: 30 inches (W) x 21 inches (D) x 2 3/8 inches (H).
  • Ensure adequate ventilation space around the cooktop.

Installation Steps:

  1. Prepare the countertop cut-out according to the specified dimensions.
  2. Ensure the power supply is turned off at the circuit breaker before beginning wiring.
  3. Connect the cooktop's wiring to your home's power supply following the provided wiring diagram. Typically, this involves connecting brown wires to brown, blue wires to blue, and green-yellow ground wires to green-yellow ground.
  4. Carefully lower the cooktop into the prepared cut-out.
  5. Secure the cooktop using the provided installation kits (brackets and screws).
  6. Apply the seal tape around the edges of the cooktop to prevent liquid ingress.

Burner Layout and Wattage:

Using the Dual-Ring Burner (Quick Boil):
