Initial Setup
Before first use, ensure the generator is placed on a level surface and follow these steps:
- Add Engine Oil: Remove the oil fill cap/dipstick. Using the provided funnel, carefully add 0.42 quarts (0.4 L) of SAE 10W-30 engine oil. Do not overfill. Check the oil level with the dipstick.
- Add Fuel: Ensure the fuel cap is securely fastened. Use fresh, unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87. The fuel tank capacity is 2.6 gallons. Do not store fuel in the tank for extended periods.
- Check Air Filter: Ensure the air filter is clean and properly installed.

Eco Mode (Low Idle Technology)
Engage the Low Idle Switch (Eco Mode) when running light loads to reduce engine speed, conserve fuel, and minimize noise output. The engine will automatically adjust its speed based on the connected load.
Stopping the Generator
- Disconnect all electrical loads from the generator.
- If Eco Mode is engaged, switch it OFF.
- Flip the Engine Switch to the OFF position.
- Turn the fuel valve to the OFF position.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and optimal performance of your generator. Always refer to the full owner's manual for detailed instructions.
- Oil Change: Change the engine oil after the first 20 hours of operation. Subsequently, change the oil every 100 hours or annually, whichever comes first.
- Air Filter: Inspect and clean the air filter every 50 hours or more frequently in dusty conditions. Replace if damaged.
- Spark Plug: Inspect the spark plug every 100 hours. Clean or replace as needed.
- Fuel System: For long-term storage, drain the fuel tank and carburetor to prevent fuel degradation.
