The OLUMAT Smart Door Lock is designed for quick installation on most standard American wooden front doors. No additional drilling is typically required. The reversible handle allows compatibility with both left and right-handed doors.

Operating Instructions

Unlocking Methods

Your OLUMAT Smart Door Lock offers six ways to unlock:

1. Fingerprint Recognition: Place your registered finger on the sensor. The lock features patented fingerprint scan technology with 360° recognition and a 0.1s unlock speed.
2. Mobile App: Use the Olumat Home app on your smartphone to unlock the door via Bluetooth or remotely with the WiFi gateway.
3. PIN Code: Enter your personalized PIN code on the keypad.
4. Key Fobs: Present a registered key fob to the lock's sensor.
5. Mechanical Keys: Use the provided mechanical keys as a traditional backup.

Energy-Saving Feature

To conserve battery life, the keypad can be woken up by simply swiping your hand across it. This feature contributes to longer battery usage.

Privacy Lock Button

Located on the interior assembly, the Privacy Lock button, when pressed, restricts unlocking to only the Olumat Home app. Fingerprint and PIN code access will be temporarily disabled until the button is pressed again. Maintenance

General Care

Battery Replacement

The lock operates on 4 AA batteries (not included). When the battery level is low, the app will provide a notification. Replace all four batteries simultaneously with new, high-quality alkaline batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries or different battery types.

Troubleshooting

• Lock not responding to fingerprint/PIN: Check battery level. Ensure your finger is clean and dry for fingerprint recognition. Verify the PIN code is entered correctly. If the Privacy Lock button was activated, only the app can unlock.
• Privacy Lock button accidentally engaged: If you press the privacy lock button and cannot unlock with fingerprint or PIN, use the Olumat Home app or a mechanical key to unlock.
• App connectivity issues: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and you are within range. For remote access, verify the WiFi gateway is properly connected to your home network and the internet.
• Lock not fitting door: Re-check door dimensions against the specifications in the 'Setup' section. Ensure the latch is correctly adjusted for your door's backset.
• Voice control not working: Confirm the Olumat WiFi Gateway is installed and connected. Ensure your smart lock is linked to your Amazon Alexa account through the Olumat Home app.
