Important Safety Information

Always adhere to basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury.

  • Electrical Connection: This 3500W cooktop operates on 220-240V and requires professional wiring for installation. It does not come with a plug. Ensure proper grounding.
  • Cookware Compatibility: Only use magnetic cookware (e.g., cast iron, stainless steel). Non-magnetic materials like aluminum, copper, ceramic, or glass will not work.
  • Child Safety Lock: Utilize the child safety lock feature to prevent accidental operation by children or pets.
  • Automatic Shut-off: The cooktop is equipped with an auto shut-off feature for safety.
  • High-Temperature Warning: Be aware of the high-temperature warning indicator after use.
  • Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation around the cooktop during and after use.

Setup and Installation

Proper installation is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of your Karinear Induction Cooktop. Professional installation is highly recommended due to the 220-240V electrical requirements.

Dimensions and Cutout

The cooktop is designed for built-in installation. Refer to the following dimensions:

  • Stovetop Size: 20.47 x 11.42 inches (52 x 29 cm)
  • Cut-out Size: 19.5 x 10.8 x 2.36 inches (49.5 x 27.5 x 6 cm)
  • Work Surface Thickness: The thickness of the work surface must be at least 30mm.

Electrical Wiring

Control Panel Overview

Power On/Off

To turn on the cooktop, touch the ON/OFF button. To turn off, touch it again.

Slider Control

Effortlessly adjust the power level for each burner by sliding your finger along the control strip. The power levels range from 1 to 9.

Flex Zone Function

The cooktop features two independent heating zones that can be combined into one large flexible zone for larger cookware like griddle pans.

  • Independent Use: Use the top (180mm/2000W) and bottom (180mm/1500W) zones separately for different cooking needs.
  • Activating Flex Zone: Touch the Flex Zone button (often indicated by a square icon) to combine both zones into a single 3000W cooking area.

Timer Function

The integrated timer can be set for up to 99 minutes. Once the set time expires, the cooktop will automatically shut off the active zone.

Child Safety Lock

To activate the child safety lock, press and hold the Child Lock button (key icon) for 3 seconds. This will lock all other keys, preventing accidental changes to settings. To unlock, press and hold the same button for 3 seconds again.

Cookware Compatibility

For optimal performance, use only induction-compatible cookware. You can test your pots and pans with a magnet; if the magnet sticks to the bottom, the cookware is compatible.

Maintenance and Cleaning

The black glass surface of your Karinear Induction Cooktop is designed for easy cleaning.

  • Daily Cleaning: After each use, allow the cooktop to cool down. Wipe the surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Dry thoroughly with a clean cloth.
  • Stubborn Stains: For tougher spots or burnt-on food, use the included cleaning scraper. Hold the scraper at a shallow angle and gently push to remove residue. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that can scratch the glass.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your cooktop, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
