5. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your CLEANmaxx floor cleaner before first use:

  1. Assemble the Handle: Insert the handle into the main unit until it clicks securely into place.
  2. Fill the Clean Water Tank: Remove the clean water tank from the appliance. Open the cap and fill it with clean water. For wet cleaning, add the recommended amount of CLEANmaxx carpet shampoo or suitable floor cleaning solution. Close the cap securely and reinsert the tank into the appliance.
  3. Attach the Correct Roller Brush: Depending on your floor type, select either the carpet roller brush or the hard floor brush. Align the brush with the slot in the brush head and push it in until it locks. Ensure it is securely fastened.

6. Operating Instructions

The CLEANmaxx 3-in-1 Floor Cleaner offers versatile cleaning modes:

6.1. General Operation

  1. Plug the power cord (7-meter length) into a suitable electrical outlet.
  2. Press the Power Button to turn on the appliance.
  3. Tilt the appliance back to engage the roller brush and begin cleaning.

6.2. Wet Cleaning (Hard Floors)

For effective cleaning of tiles, laminate, linoleum, and sealed wooden floors:

  • Ensure the hard floor brush is installed.
  • Fill the clean water tank with water and, if desired, a suitable hard floor cleaning solution.
  • Turn on the appliance and move it slowly over the floor. The appliance will dispense water, scrub, and then vacuum up the dirty liquid.

6.3. Carpet Cleaning

For deep cleaning of carpets and rugs:

  • Ensure the carpet roller brush is installed.
  • Fill the clean water tank with water and the provided CLEANmaxx carpet shampoo.
  • Turn on the appliance and move it slowly over the carpet. The appliance will dispense the shampoo solution, agitate the carpet fibers, and then extract the dirty liquid.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your CLEANmaxx floor cleaner.

7.1. Emptying and Cleaning Tanks

After each use, or when the dirty water tank is full:

  1. Turn off and unplug the appliance.
  2. Remove the dirty water tank.
  3. Empty the dirty water and rinse the tank thoroughly with clean water.
  4. Clean any debris from the filter located in the dirty water tank.
  5. Rinse the clean water tank if any cleaning solution was used.
  6. Allow both tanks to air dry before reassembling.

7.2. Self-Cleaning Function

The appliance features a convenient self-cleaning function:

  1. Place the appliance on its self-cleaning and storage station.
  2. Ensure the clean water tank has sufficient water.
  3. Press the Self-Cleaning Button. The appliance will run a cycle to clean the roller brush and internal pathways.
  4. After the cycle, empty and clean the dirty water tank as described above.

7.3. Replacing Roller Brushes

  • Turn off and unplug the appliance.
  • Remove the brush head cover.
  • Carefully pull out the used roller brush.
  • Insert the new roller brush, ensuring it clicks into place.
  • Replace the brush head cover.
