1. Introduction

The artfone G6 is a 4G flip phone designed for ease of use, particularly for seniors. It features large buttons, dual LCD screens, and essential functions for reliable communication. This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your device.

2. Setup

2.1 What's in the Box

Upon unboxing your artfone G6, please verify that all components are present:

• 1x artfone G6 Mobile Phone (Battery not installed)
• 1x 1300mAh Battery
• 1x USB Charger Cable
• 1x Charging Base/Stand
• 1x User Manual (this document)

2.2 Battery and SIM Card Installation

To prepare your phone for use, follow these steps:

1. Carefully remove the back cover of the phone.
2. Insert your Nano SIM card(s) into the designated slot(s). The phone supports dual SIM.
3. If desired, insert a Micro SD card (up to 64GB) into the memory card slot for expanded storage.
4. Insert the 1300mAh battery into its compartment, ensuring the gold contacts align.
5. Replace the back cover until it clicks securely into place.

2.3 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge your artfone G6. You have two charging options:

• Using the Charging Dock: Place the phone securely in the charging base. The phone's external screen will display a charging indicator.
• Using the USB-C Cable: Connect the USB-C cable directly to the phone's charging port and to a power adapter.

A full charge typically takes approximately 2 hours. The battery provides 6-8 hours of talk time and over 7 days of standby time.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Power On/Off

• To power on, press and hold the red End Call button until the screen lights up.
• To power off, press and hold the red End Call button until the power off options appear, then select 'Power off'.

3.2 Making and Receiving Calls

• Making a Call: Dial the number using the large keypad and press the green Call button.
• Receiving a Call: Flip open the phone to answer an incoming call, or press the green Call button. To end a call, close the phone or press the red End Call button.

3.3 Keypad and Navigation

The artfone G6 features a backlit physical keyboard with 21 oversized buttons for easy dialing and texting. Use the navigation keys (up, down, left, right, OK) to move through menus.

3.4 Dual LCD Screens

The phone has a 2.4-inch inner screen and a 1.8-inch outer display. The outer screen allows you to check the time, caller ID, and text notifications without opening the phone.

3.5 SOS Function

For emergencies, the G6 features a dedicated SOS button on the back. Pressing and holding this button for 3 seconds will automatically dial up to five pre-set emergency contacts and send distress messages until a connection is made.

3.6 Speed Dial

Assign frequently called numbers to dedicated speed dial keys (A/B and numbers 2-9) for quick access. Refer to the phone's internal settings for programming these numbers.

3.7 Voice Time Announcement

Hold the Volume + key for 3 seconds to hear the current time audibly announced by the phone.
