Assembly Instructions
Follow these steps to assemble your Bellemave Twin Montessori Floor Bed Frame. It is recommended to have two adults for assembly.
Step 1: Prepare Components
Unpack all components and lay them out on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches. Identify each part according to the Package Contents list. The hardware is typically organized in numbered bags.

Step 2: Assemble the Short Sides
Attach the legs to the short end rails. Ensure the legs are oriented correctly, with any pre-drilled holes for the slats facing inwards. Use the provided dowels and screws from the hardware pack to secure them. Do not overtighten.
Step 3: Connect the Long Sides
Connect the assembled short sides to the long side rails. Use the longer screws and barrel nuts to join the corners. It is advisable to loosely tighten these screws initially to allow for minor adjustments as you assemble the entire frame.
Step 4: Install the Slats
Place the wooden slats across the bed frame. Ensure the side of the slat with the pre-drilled holes for screws faces upwards. Align the slats with the pre-drilled holes on the inner ledges of the side rails. Secure each slat using the provided screws. Distribute the slats evenly across the bed frame for optimal mattress support. Be careful when handling slats as some edges may be rough.
Step 5: Final Tightening
Once all components are in place and the frame is square, fully tighten all screws and fasteners. Do not overtighten to avoid stripping the wood or hardware.

- Place a twin-size mattress directly onto the installed slats. No box spring is needed.
