  1. Locate the Isofix anchor points in your vehicle (usually indicated by symbols in the seat bight).
  2. Extend the Isofix connectors from the car seat base.
  3. Align the connectors with the vehicle's anchor points and push the car seat firmly until you hear a distinct 'click' and the indicators turn green (if applicable).
  4. Ensure the car seat is securely attached by pulling on it.

2. Top Tether Connection

  1. Locate the Top Tether anchor point in your vehicle (typically on the back of the vehicle seat or parcel shelf).

Operating Instructions

1. Securing Your Child

  1. Place your child in the car seat.
  2. Bring the two buckle tongues together and insert them into the buckle until you hear a 'click'.
  3. Pull the harness adjustment strap to tighten the 5-point harness. Ensure the harness is snug against your child's body, with no slack. You should not be able to pinch any excess webbing at the child's shoulder.
  4. To loosen the harness, press the harness release button (refer to the car seat labels for exact location) and pull the shoulder straps forward.

2. Adjusting Headrest and Harness Height

The headrest and harness height adjust simultaneously. To adjust, locate the headrest adjustment lever (usually at the top or back of the headrest), squeeze it, and slide the headrest up or down to the desired position. Release the lever to lock it in place.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Car Seat

  • The car seat cover is removable and washable. Refer to the care label on the cover for specific washing instructions (typically machine wash cold on a gentle cycle).
  • Do not use harsh detergents, bleach, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the fabric and compromise safety.
  • Wipe plastic parts with a damp cloth and mild soap.
  • Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling and using the car seat.

Troubleshooting

  • Car seat feels loose after installation: Ensure Isofix connectors are fully engaged (green indicators visible) and the Top Tether is taut. Re-read installation steps carefully.
  • Harness is difficult to tighten/loosen: Check for any twists in the harness straps. Ensure the harness release button is fully pressed when loosening.
  • Child's head slumps forward: Adjust the headrest to the appropriate height for your child. Ensure the recline position (if applicable) is suitable for their age and size.
