NVMe SSD Usage

To utilize the NVMe SSD for disk access, ensure that PCIe is enabled within your Raspberry Pi OS configuration. The N07 board is designed for seamless integration once PCIe is properly configured.

Cooling System

The ICE Tower Cooler efficiently dissipates heat from the Raspberry Pi 5, improving performance and stability. The fan's LED lights flash automatically and cannot be programmatically switched off. The 4Pin JST interface allows for system-controlled fan speed based on thermal needs.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the case. For acrylic panels, avoid abrasive cleaners that may scratch the surface.
  • Fan: Periodically check the fan for dust accumulation. Use compressed air to gently clear any dust from the fan blades and heatsink fins to maintain optimal cooling performance.

Troubleshooting

  • OLED Display Not Working: Ensure the display is correctly connected. Software configuration is required for the OLED display to function. Refer to the official Wiki for specific setup instructions for the OLED display.
  • NVMe SSD Not Detected: Verify that the N07 M.2 NVMe SSD board is securely connected to the Raspberry Pi 5's PCIe interface. Ensure that PCIe support is enabled in your Raspberry Pi OS configuration. Check the SSD for proper seating on the N07 board.
  • Fan Not Spinning/LEDs Not Lighting: Check the 4Pin JST cable connection to the Raspberry Pi 5. Ensure the Raspberry Pi is powered on.
  • Overheating: Ensure the ICE Tower Cooler is properly mounted with good thermal contact. Verify the fan is spinning. Ensure adequate airflow around the case.
