4. Assembly and Setup

Follow these steps carefully for proper assembly and setup of your table saw.

4.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Check the contents against the packing list to ensure all parts are present and undamaged. Report any missing or damaged parts immediately.

4.2 Assembling the Stand

Assemble the robust steel sheet underframe according to the diagrams provided in the separate assembly instructions. Ensure all connections are secure and stable.

4.3 Attaching the Table Saw to the Stand

Mount the table saw unit securely onto the assembled stand using the provided hardware. Verify that the saw is level and firmly attached to prevent wobbling during operation.

4.4 Installing the Saw Blade

Ensure the machine is unplugged. Carefully install the 254 mm saw blade, making sure the teeth are oriented correctly for cutting. Tighten the blade retaining nut securely. Re-attach the blade guard.

4.5 Attaching Table Extensions

The table saw includes extensions on both sides to accommodate larger workpieces. Attach these extensions as per the instructions, ensuring they are level with the main table surface and securely fastened.

5. Operation

Before operating, ensure all safety precautions are understood and followed.

5.1 Powering On/Off (Softstart)

Connect the saw to a suitable power outlet (230V). The 2200W motor features a soft start function, which reduces initial torque and wear. Press the green 'ON' button to start the saw and the red 'OFF' button to stop it.

5.2 Adjusting Cutting Height

Use the handwheel to comfortably and steplessly adjust the cutting height. For a 90° cut, the maximum cutting height is 85 mm. For a 45° bevel cut, the maximum cutting height is 63 mm.

5.3 Adjusting Bevel Angle (0-45°)

The saw blade can be continuously tilted from 0° to 45° for exact miter cuts. Use the designated lever and scale to set the desired angle, then lock it in place.

5.4 Making Longitudinal Cuts (Rip Cuts)

Position the rip fence to the desired width. Ensure the workpiece is flat on the table and pressed firmly against the fence. Use a push stick for the final part of the cut, especially for narrow pieces.

5.5 Making Cross Cuts and Miter Cuts

Use the adjustable cross-cut gauge for precise cross cuts and miter cuts. The gauge can be set from -60° to +60°. Always ensure the workpiece is securely held against the gauge before cutting.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your table saw. Always disconnect the power supply before performing any maintenance.

  • Cleaning: After each use, clean the saw table, blade guard, and motor housing from dust and debris. Use a brush or vacuum cleaner. Do not use solvents.
  • Saw Blade Care: Regularly check the saw blade for sharpness and damage. Replace dull or damaged blades immediately. Ensure the blade is clean and free of resin buildup.
  • Inspection: Periodically check all screws, nuts, and moving parts for tightness and wear. Lubricate moving parts as recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Electrical Components: Inspect the power cord and plug for any damage. Do not use the saw if the cord is damaged.
