Setup
1. Charging the Tablet
Before first use, fully charge your tablet. Connect the USB Type-C cable to the tablet's charging port and the other end to the power adapter. Plug the adapter into a wall outlet. The battery indicator on the screen will show charging status.
2. Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power button until the Packard Bell logo appears.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button until the power options menu appears. Select "Power off".
- To Restart: Press and hold the Power button until the power options menu appears. Select "Restart".
3. Initial Setup
Upon first power-on, the tablet will guide you through the initial setup process. This includes selecting your language, connecting to a Wi-Fi network, and signing in with your Google account. Follow the on-screen prompts.
4. Inserting SIM and SD Card
The Silverstone T10 supports LTE connectivity and expandable storage via a microSD card. Locate the SIM/SD card tray on the side of the tablet. Use the provided SIM ejector tool to open the tray. Carefully place your Nano-SIM card and/or microSD card into the designated slots, ensuring correct orientation. Close the tray securely.
Operating Instructions
1. Basic Navigation
- Tap: Touch the screen once to open an app, select an item, or press a button.
- Touch and Hold: Press and hold an item to access contextual menus or drag items.
- Swipe: Drag your finger across the screen to scroll through lists or switch between screens.
- Pinch: Use two fingers to zoom in or out on images and web pages.
2. Connecting to Wi-Fi
- Go to Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi.
- Toggle Wi-Fi on.
- Select your desired network from the list.
- Enter the password if prompted and tap Connect.
3. Connecting to LTE (Mobile Data)
Ensure a valid SIM card is inserted. Go to Settings > Network & internet > Mobile network. Enable Mobile data. You may need to configure APN settings depending on your service provider.
4. Bluetooth Pairing
- Go to Settings > Connected devices > Bluetooth.
- Toggle Bluetooth on.
- Ensure the device you want to pair is in pairing mode.
- Select the device from the list and follow any on-screen prompts to complete pairing.
5. Camera Usage
Open the Camera app from the home screen or app drawer. Tap the shutter button to take photos. Switch between front and rear cameras using the camera switch icon. Tap on the screen to focus.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Tablet
Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the screen and body of the tablet. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-cleaning solution designed for electronics.
2. Battery Care
- Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
- Do not leave the tablet charging for extended periods after it reaches 100%.
- Store the tablet in a cool, dry place if not used for a long time, with the battery charged to about 50%.
3. Software Updates
Regularly check for and install software updates to ensure optimal performance and security. Go to Settings > System > System update.
4. Storage Management
To free up storage space, regularly delete unnecessary files, uninstall unused apps, and clear app caches. You can also move large files to an inserted microSD card. Go to Settings > Storage to manage your device's storage.
