4. Setup

The TYMO Airflow 2.0 offers 5 precise temperature settings to suit various hair types:

• 360°F / 180°C: Recommended for Dyed / Dark Color Hair
• 320°F / 160°C: Recommended for Thin / Fine / Bleached Hair
• 280°F / 140°C: Recommended for Soft / Thin Hair

Press the On/Off button briefly to cycle through the temperature settings. The LED indicators will show the selected temperature.

5.2. Using the Airflow Function

The 360° airflow function helps to set curls and reduce heat damage. Press the Airflow Button to turn the cool air on or off during styling.

5.3. Straightening Hair

1. Ensure hair is clean, dry, and detangled.
2. Select the appropriate temperature setting for your hair type.
3. Take a small section of hair (approximately 1 inch wide).
4. Place the hair section between the heating plates, close to the roots.
5. Gently glide the straightener down the hair section from roots to ends in one smooth motion.
6. Repeat for all sections until desired straightness is achieved.

5.4. Curling Hair

1. Ensure hair is clean, dry, and detangled.
2. Select the appropriate temperature setting for your hair type.
3. Take a small section of hair (approximately 1 inch wide).
4. Clamp: Clip the hair forward, inserting a 1-inch section of hair between the plates.
5. Rotate: Twist the styler 360° until the clip is forward again, wrapping the hair around the barrel.
6. Glide: Gently and slowly slide the styler down the hair section to the ends.
7. Release the hair and allow the curl to cool and set.
8. Repeat for all sections until desired curls are achieved.

• Cleaning: Ensure the device is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning. Wipe the plates and exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.

Problem: Hair is not curling effectively.

Solution: Ensure you are starting from the hair roots and working down to the ends. Insert a small section of hair (approximately 1 inch) between the plates, rotate the styler 360°, and then SLOWLY GLIDE it down to the ends. Rapid gliding may not allow sufficient time for the curl to form.

Problem: Device does not turn on.

Solution: Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet. Ensure you are long-pressing the On/Off button for at least 2 seconds to power on the device.
