3. Setup and Assembly

Your WINDHORSE W2B Electric Bike comes 98% pre-assembled. Follow these steps to complete the setup:

1. Unpack the Bike: Carefully remove the bike and all components from the packaging. Remove all protective wrapping.
2. Unroll the Bike: Unfold the main frame of the bike. Ensure the folding mechanism is securely locked.
3. Adjust Seat Tube: Insert the seat tube and adjust its height to your preference. Secure the quick-release lever.
4. Install Pedals: Attach the pedals to the crank arms. Note that the left pedal (marked 'L') and right pedal (marked 'R') have different threading. Ensure they are tightened securely.
5. Adjust Handlebars: Raise the handlebars to your desired height and secure the quick-release mechanism.
6. Charge the Battery: Before first use, fully charge the battery using the provided charger. The charger light will indicate charging status.

4. Operating Instructions

The WINDHORSE W2B offers three distinct riding modes to suit your needs:

• Throttle Mode: Engage the throttle for pure electric power, reaching speeds up to 25 MPH.
• Pedal Assist Mode (PAS): Provides electric assistance as you pedal, extending your range up to 35 miles. This mode is ideal for longer rides and conserving battery.
• Manual Mode: Ride the bike like a traditional bicycle without any electric assistance.

To activate the bike, insert the key into the battery lock and turn it to the 'On' position. The LED display on the handlebars will show the battery level.

For night riding, turn the key further to activate the LED headlight and rear reflector light, ensuring optimal visibility.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your WINDHORSE Electric Bike.

• Battery Care: Charge the battery fully after each use. Avoid completely draining the battery to prolong its lifespan. Store the battery in a cool, dry place.
• Tire Pressure: Regularly check and maintain the recommended tire pressure for optimal ride quality and safety.
• Brake Inspection: Periodically inspect the dual disc brakes for wear and tear. Ensure brake levers are responsive and braking distance is consistent.
• Chain Lubrication: Keep the chain clean and lubricated to ensure smooth operation and prevent rust.
• General Cleaning: Clean the bike regularly with a damp cloth. Avoid using high-pressure water jets directly on electrical components.

• Bike Not Turning On:
  • Ensure the battery is fully charged.
  • Check that the battery key is turned to the 'On' position.

  • Check tire pressure; underinflated tires can reduce efficiency.
