Introduction
This manual provides instructions for the Leankle RMF-TX310U Voice Remote Controller, designed for Sony LED and OLED Android Smart TVs from 2016 to 2019. This remote offers both infrared (IR) and voice control functionalities, enhancing your television viewing experience. Please read this manual carefully before use.
Setup
1. Battery Installation
The remote requires two AAA batteries (not included).
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
- Slide the battery cover downwards to open it.
- Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals match the diagrams inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery cover by sliding it back into position until it clicks.

2. Initial Use (Infrared Mode)
The remote control functions immediately in infrared (IR) mode without any setup. Simply point the remote directly at your TV's IR sensor to control basic functions like power, volume, and channel changes.

3. Pairing for Voice Control (Bluetooth Mode)
For full functionality, including voice search and other advanced features, pair the remote control with your Sony Smart TV via Bluetooth. This enables Google Assistant integration.
- Ensure your TV is powered on.
- On the remote, press and hold both the Vol – (Volume Down) button and the Voice button simultaneously for approximately 3 seconds.
- The TV screen will display a "Connecting..." message.
- Once the message "The new remote has been connected" appears, select OK on your TV screen to confirm.
- If your TV was previously paired with a lost or broken remote, it is recommended to unpair the old remote first through your TV's settings before attempting to pair the new one.
Operating Instructions
Basic Functions (IR Mode)
- Power Button: Turns the TV on or off.
- Number Buttons (0-9): Selects channels directly.
- Volume Up/Down: Adjusts the TV volume.
- Channel Up/Down: Changes TV channels sequentially.
- Muting Button: Mutes or unmutes the TV audio.
- Input Button: Cycles through available input sources.
Voice Control (Bluetooth Mode)
Once paired, the voice control feature allows you to use Google Assistant for various commands.
- Voice Button: Press and hold this button to activate voice commands. Speak clearly into the remote's microphone.
- Voice Hints: For more operation tips, press the Voice button and say "voice hints".
Navigation and Special Buttons
- Directional Pad (Up/Down/Left/Right) and Enter Button: Navigates menus and confirms selections.
- HOME Button: Accesses the TV's home screen or smart hub.
- BACK Button: Returns to the previous screen or menu.
- APPS Button: Provides quick access to installed applications.
- GUIDE Button: Displays the electronic program guide.
- ACTION MENU Button: Opens a context-sensitive menu for current content.
- Colored Buttons (Red, Green, Yellow, Blue): Functionality varies by application or TV menu.
- Media Playback Controls (Play, Pause, Stop, Prev, Next, Rewind, Fast Forward): Controls media playback.
Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean the remote control, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, sprays, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the remote's surface or internal components.
Battery Replacement
Replace batteries when the remote's response becomes sluggish or it stops functioning. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new AAA batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.
Troubleshooting
- Remote not responding in IR mode:
- Ensure batteries are correctly installed and not depleted.
- Point the remote directly at the TV's IR sensor.
- Remove any obstructions between the remote and the TV.
- Voice control not working:
- Confirm the remote is successfully paired with your TV via Bluetooth (refer to "Pairing for Voice Control" section).
- Ensure the TV's Bluetooth is enabled.
- Speak clearly and hold the Voice button while speaking.
- Check TV settings for voice control permissions.
- Buttons feel stiff or unresponsive:
- This can be normal for new remotes and may improve with use.
- Ensure the remote is clean and free of debris around the buttons.
- Remote functions are incorrect or unexpected:
- If using in IR mode, some advanced buttons may not function as expected if they require Bluetooth pairing.
- If paired, try unpairing and re-pairing the remote with the TV.
