1. Introduction

The CASCHO Air Tracker S2 is a compact Bluetooth item finder designed to help you locate your personal belongings using the Apple Find My network. This device is compatible exclusively with iOS devices and integrates seamlessly with the pre-installed Find My app.

Key features include a 90dB audible alert, IP67 water resistance, and a user-replaceable CR2032 battery with up to 1 year of life. This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your Air Tracker S2.

The CASCHO Air Tracker S2 is a small, square-shaped device with a single button and a keyring hole for attachment to various items.

4. Setup

4.1 Initial Setup and Pairing

To begin using your CASCHO Air Tracker S2, you must pair it with your iOS device (iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch) running iOS 14.6 or later.

1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your iOS device.
2. Open the Apple Find My app.
3. Navigate to the 'Items' tab.
4. Tap the '+' icon and select 'Add Other Item'.
5. Press and hold the button on your CASCHO Air Tracker S2 for 2 seconds until you hear a beep.
6. Place the Air Tracker S2 close to your iOS device. The device will detect the tracker.
7. Follow the on-screen prompts in the Find My app to name your item and complete the pairing process.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Finding Nearby Items

When your Air Tracker S2 is within Bluetooth range (up to 60 meters or 200 feet), you can use the Find My app to play a sound on the tracker to help locate it.

1. Open the Find My app on your iOS device.
2. Go to the 'Items' tab.
3. Select the CASCHO Air Tracker S2 you wish to locate.
4. Tap 'Play Sound'. The tracker will emit a 90dB sound to guide you.

5.2 Finding Far Away Items

If your Air Tracker S2 is out of Bluetooth range, the Apple Find My network can help you locate it. Millions of Apple devices worldwide anonymously relay the location of nearby Find My-enabled items.

1. Open the Find My app on your iOS device.
2. Go to the 'Items' tab.
3. Select your CASCHO Air Tracker S2.
4. The app will display its last known location on a map. You can also use the navigation feature to get directions to its general vicinity.

5.3 Lost Mode

If you lose your Air Tracker S2, activate 'Lost Mode' in the Find My app. This allows anyone who finds your item to view a message and contact number you provide, facilitating its return.

1. In the Find My app, go to the 'Items' tab and select your Air Tracker S2.
2. Scroll down and tap 'Enable' under 'Lost Mode'.
3. Follow the prompts to enter a phone number and a message that will be displayed to the finder.
4. Confirm activation of Lost Mode.

5.4 Left-Behind Reminders

Enable 'Notify When Left Behind' notifications in the Find My app to receive an alert if you leave your tracked item behind.

1. In the Find My app, go to the 'Items' tab and select your Air Tracker S2.
2. Scroll down and enable 'Notify When Left Behind'.
3. You will receive an alert within 10 minutes if the item moves out of Bluetooth range.

5.5 Sharing Items

You can share the location of your Air Tracker S2 with friends or family members who also use iOS devices (iOS or macOS versions 14.6+).

1. In the Find My app, go to the 'Items' tab and select your Air Tracker S2.
2. Tap 'Share This Item' and follow the instructions to add contacts.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Battery Replacement

The CASCHO Air Tracker S2 is powered by a replaceable CR2032 coin cell battery, which typically lasts up to 1 year. When the battery is low, you will receive a notification in the Find My app.

1. Locate the small groove on the side of the Air Tracker S2.
2. Carefully insert a thin tool (e.g., a small flat-head screwdriver or a coin) into the groove and gently pry open the casing.
3. Remove the old CR2032 battery.
4. Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
5. Align the two halves of the casing and press firmly until it clicks securely into place.

Warning: The unique cover design is intended to prevent children from easily opening the device. Keep batteries out of reach of children. Swallowing a coin cell battery can be dangerous.

6.2 Water Resistance

The Air Tracker S2 has an IP67 rating, meaning it is resistant to dust and can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter (3.3 feet) for up to 30 minutes. It is not recommended for prolonged submersion or use during water sports.

7. Troubleshooting

• Tracker not connecting: Ensure Bluetooth is on, your iOS device is running iOS 14.6 or later, and the tracker's battery is not depleted. Try resetting the tracker by removing and reinserting the battery, then attempt pairing again.
• Sound is too quiet: The tracker emits a 90dB sound. Ensure there are no obstructions muffling the sound. If the sound is consistently low, the battery may be weak.
• Inaccurate location: Location accuracy depends on the density of the Apple Find My network in the area. In remote locations, updates may be less frequent.
• Battery drains quickly: Ensure the tracker is not constantly out of range, which can cause it to search for a connection more frequently. Replace the battery if it's nearing the end of its life cycle.

• Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the device beyond battery replacement.
• Keep the device and batteries out of reach of small children and pets. Swallowing coin cell batteries can cause severe injury or death. Seek immediate medical attention if a battery is swallowed.
• Dispose of batteries according to local regulations. Do not incinerate.
• The Find My network includes an anti-stalking system. If an unknown Air Tracker is detected traveling with you over time, your iPhone will alert you with a pop-up message.
