4. Setup Instructions

4.1 Battery Installation

The clock requires 4 AA batteries for operation. These are included in the package.

Locate the battery compartment on the back of the clock.
Open the battery compartment cover.
Insert the 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2 Bluetooth Pairing and Time Synchronization

The clock automatically synchronizes its time via Bluetooth with your smartphone. No dedicated app is required.

Ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth is enabled.
The clock will automatically enter pairing mode upon battery installation or if it loses connection.
On your smartphone, search for available Bluetooth devices. The clock should appear as a discoverable device.
Select the clock from the list to pair. Once paired, the time on the clock will automatically synchronize with your phone's time.

4.3 Mounting Options

The clock can be either wall-mounted or placed on a desktop.

Wall Mount: Use the integrated mounting holes on the back of the clock. Ensure appropriate wall anchors and screws are used for secure installation.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Display Modes (12/24H & °C/°F)

The clock supports both 12-hour and 24-hour time formats, and temperature display in Celsius or Fahrenheit.

To switch between 12-hour and 24-hour format, press the designated '12/24' button on the back of the clock.
To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F), press the designated '°C/°F' button on the back of the clock.

5.2 Backlight Adjustment

The clock features an adjustable backlight with three settings: Off, Low, and High.

Use the slide button located on the side or back of the clock to cycle through the backlight options.
Select 'Off' for no backlight, 'Low' for dim illumination, or 'High' for brighter illumination.

5.3 Alarm Function

The clock includes an alarm function with three customizable modes: Everyday, Working Day, and Weekend.

Press the 'Alarm' button to enter alarm setting mode.
Use the '+' and '-' buttons to set the desired alarm time.
Press the 'Alarm' button again to select the alarm mode (Everyday, Working Day, or Weekend).
Confirm your settings. The alarm icon will appear on the display when activated.
To snooze, press any button when the alarm sounds. To turn off the alarm, press the 'Alarm' button.

5.4 Timer Function

The clock features both count-up and countdown timer functions.

Press the 'Timer' button to access the timer function.
For countdown: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to set the desired countdown duration. Press 'Start/Stop' to begin or pause.
For count-up: With the timer at 0:00, press 'Start/Stop' to begin counting up.
Press 'Clear' to reset the timer.

5.5 Automatic Daylight Saving Time (DST)

When enabled, the clock will automatically adjust for Daylight Saving Time.

Locate the 'DST' switch or button on the back of the clock.
Ensure the DST feature is enabled (usually indicated by an 'ON' position or a specific icon on the display).
The clock will then automatically adjust its time at the start and end of Daylight Saving Time periods.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Battery Replacement

The clock features a low battery indicator to alert you when batteries need to be replaced.

When the low battery indicator appears on the display, prepare 4 new AA batteries.
Open the battery compartment on the back of the clock.
Remove the old batteries and dispose of them responsibly.
Insert the new batteries, observing correct polarity.
Close the battery compartment. The clock's settings will be retained due to the memory function.

6.2 Cleaning

To clean the clock, use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these can damage the display or casing.

7. Troubleshooting

Clock not displaying time: Ensure batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace batteries if the low battery indicator is on.
Bluetooth pairing issues: Ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth is on and within range. Try restarting both the clock (by removing and reinserting batteries) and your phone's Bluetooth.
Incorrect time displayed: Verify successful Bluetooth synchronization. If issues persist, try re-pairing the clock with your smartphone.
Backlight not working: Check the backlight adjustment slide button. Ensure it is not set to 'Off'. If issues persist after battery replacement, contact support.
Alarm not sounding: Ensure the alarm is set correctly and the volume is not muted (if applicable). Check the alarm mode (Everyday, Working Day, Weekend) to ensure it's active for the current day.
