1. Introduction

The LEOBOG AU75 Gaming Keyboard is a versatile mechanical keyboard designed for gamers and professionals alike. It offers multi-device connectivity, hot-swappable switches for customization, vibrant RGB backlighting, and a convenient functional knob for quick adjustments. This manual provides detailed instructions to help you set up, operate, and maintain your keyboard.

2. Setup

2.1 Multi-Device Connection

The AU75 keyboard supports three connection modes: Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4GHz wireless, and Type-C wired connectivity. You can seamlessly switch between up to 5 devices using the FN+ key combination.

2.1.1 2.4GHz Wireless Connection

Locate the 2.4GHz USB dongle stored in the keyboard's receiver storage compartment. Plug the dongle into your device's USB port. Switch the keyboard's mode selector to 2.4G. The keyboard should automatically connect.

2.1.2 Bluetooth Connection

Switch the keyboard's mode selector to BT. Press FN+1!, FN+2@, or FN+3# to select a Bluetooth channel. The indicator light will flash, indicating pairing mode. On your device, search for Bluetooth devices and select 'AU75' to connect.

2.1.3 USB-C Wired Connection

Connect the provided USB-C cable to the keyboard's Type-C interface and the other end to your computer's USB port. Switch the keyboard's mode selector to Wired. The keyboard will function as a wired device and charge simultaneously.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Key Functions and Combinations

The AU75 keyboard features a 75% layout with N-key anti-ghosting. Utilize the FN key in combination with other keys for various multimedia and system functions:

  • FN+ESC: Restore Factory Settings

  • FN+F3: Convert Window ALT+TAB

3.2 RGB Backlighting

The keyboard features 16.8 million RGB light colors with 16 pre-set lighting effects. Lighting brightness and speed can be adjusted using the functional knob or FN+key combinations.

  • FN+\: Switch light mode
  • FN+TAB: Switch light colors
  • FN+←: Slow down light speed
  • FN+→: Accelerate light speed
  • FN+↑: Backlight Brightness+

3.3 Functional Knob

The multi-function knob allows for quick adjustments:

  • Long press: Switch between Office/Gaming modes.
  • Rotate in Gaming Mode: Adjust keyboard backlight brightness (Clockwise: brightness+, Counter-clockwise: brightness-).
  • Rotate in Office Mode: Adjust system volume (Clockwise: volume+, Counter-clockwise: volume-).
  • Press down: Mute/Unmute audio.

3.4 Hot-Swappable Switches

The AU75 keyboard features an all-key hot-swappable design, allowing you to easily change keycaps and 3/5-pin switches without soldering. This enables full customization of your typing experience.

The keyboard comes with LEOBOG Star Vector Switches. Other compatible LEOBOG switches include Barbie, Nimbus, Block, Rambo, Space Crystal, Crystal, Ice Blue, Reaper, and Gray Wood V3 switches, each offering a unique feel and sound profile.

To replace a switch, use the included keycap puller to remove the keycap, then use the switch puller to gently remove the switch. Align the new switch with the pins and press firmly until it clicks into place.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

Regularly clean your keyboard to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Use the included Keyboard Cleaner and cleaning cloth to remove dust and debris from between the keycaps and the keyboard surface.

4.2 Keycap and Switch Replacement

The included Keycap Puller and extra LEOBOG Star Vector Switches allow for easy replacement of damaged or desired keycaps and switches. Refer to section 3.4 for detailed instructions on hot-swapping switches.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Connectivity Issues

  • Keyboard not connecting via Bluetooth/2.4GHz: Ensure the keyboard is in the correct mode (BT or 2.4G) and the dongle is properly inserted. Try restarting your device or the keyboard.
  • Bluetooth not connecting until login: This can sometimes occur with certain operating systems. Consider using the wired connection for initial login if this is a persistent issue.

5.2 Key Not Responding

  • If a specific key is not responding, the switch may be faulty. Utilize the hot-swappable feature to replace the switch with one of the included extra switches or a new compatible switch.
