Important Safety Instructions

• Flammable Refrigerant: This appliance uses flammable refrigerant (R600a). Do not use mechanical devices or other means to defrost the ice maker. Do not puncture the refrigerant tubing.
• Placement: Place the ice maker on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Allow adequate ventilation around the unit.
• Water Quality: Use potable water only.

Setup Instructions

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging and remove all packing materials.
2. Placement: Place the ice maker upright on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is at least 4-6 inches of space around the unit for proper ventilation.
3. Stabilization Period: It is important to let the ice maker stand upright for at least 24 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
4. Clean Before First Use: Before making ice for consumption, perform an initial cleaning cycle. (Refer to the Maintenance section for detailed self-cleaning instructions).
5. Connect Power: Plug the ice maker into a grounded 115V electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

1. Add Water: Open the lid and remove the ice basket. Fill the water reservoir with potable water up to the "MAX" fill line. Do not overfill.
2. Replace Basket: Place the ice basket back into the unit and close the lid.
3. Power On: Press the "ON/OFF" button to start the ice-making cycle. The "POWER" indicator light will illuminate.
4. Ice Production: The ice maker will begin producing ice. The first batch of 9 bullet-shaped ice cubes will be ready in approximately 6 minutes.
5. Ice Full Indicator: When the ice basket is full, the "ICE FULL" indicator will flash, and the ice maker will automatically pause production. Remove ice to resume operation.
6. Add Water Indicator: If the water level is too low, the "ADD WATER" indicator will flash. Add more water to the reservoir to continue ice production.
7. Serving Ice: Use the provided ice scoop to retrieve ice from the basket.
8. Storing Ice: Since the ice maker is not a freezer, ice will gradually melt. Transfer unused ice to a freezer for long-term storage.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Self-Cleaning Function:

The ice maker features a convenient one-touch auto-cleaning function to maintain hygiene.

1. Empty Water: Ensure the water reservoir is empty.
2. Add Water for Cleaning: Fill the reservoir with clean water up to the "MAX" line.
3. Activate Self-Clean: Press and hold the "ON/OFF" button for 5 seconds. The unit will enter automatic cleaning mode, which runs for approximately 30 minutes.
4. Drain Water: After the cleaning cycle is complete, drain the water from the reservoir. (Refer to the Draining Water section below).
5. Wipe Down: Wipe the interior and exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth.

Draining Water:

Regularly drain the water from the reservoir, especially if the unit will not be used for an extended period or after cleaning.

• Locate the drain plug at the bottom of the unit.
• Place a container under the drain plug.
• Remove the drain plug to allow water to flow out.
• Once empty, securely replace the drain plug.

General Cleaning Tips:

• Clean the ice basket and scoop regularly with mild soap and water.
• For descaling, it is recommended to descaling once a month using a suitable descaling solution (e.g., a mixture of water and vinegar) and running the self-cleaning cycle.
