1. Important Safety Information

Please read and understand all instructions before assembling and using this bunk bed. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury.

• Weight Capacity: The upper bunk supports up to 450 lbs. The lower bunk supports up to 400 lbs. Do not exceed these limits.
• Guardrails: The upper bunk is equipped with full-length and heightened guardrails. Ensure they are properly installed and secured to prevent falls.
• Mattress Thickness: For the top bunk, ensure the top of the mattress is at least 5 inches (127mm) from the edge of the guardrail. Recommended mattress thickness for the top bunk is 4-6 inches (75 x 53 inches). Recommended mattress thickness for the lower bunk is 6-12 inches (75 x 38 inches).
• Anti-Tipping Device: Securely fix the loft bed to the wall using the provided anti-tip nails to prevent accidental tipping.
• Assembly: Ensure proper assembly of all components. Do not overtighten fasteners. Leave all bolts loose until fully assembled, then tighten securely.
• Ladder Safety: Use the ladder for climbing to and from the upper bunk. Ensure it is securely attached.

3. Assembly Instructions

Assembly of the DICTAC bunk bed requires careful attention to detail. All parts are clearly labeled. It is recommended to have two people for assembly.

General Assembly Steps:

1. Unpack and Identify Parts: Lay out all components and hardware. Verify against the parts list in your included manual.
2. Assemble Ladder Sections: Attach the ladder rungs to the side rails using the specified screws and washers. Pay attention to hole direction.
3. Construct Bed Frames: Assemble the top and bottom bed frames by connecting the side rails and end panels. Ensure all connections are secure but do not fully tighten bolts until the entire frame is upright.
4. Attach Support Beams: Install the horizontal support beams for both the upper and lower bunks.
5. Install Desk and Shelves: Place the wooden desk surface and storage shelves into their designated positions within the frame. Secure them with the appropriate fasteners.
6. Install Metal Mesh and Accessories: Attach the metal decorative mesh. Install the hanging rail, fabric drawers, and side storage bag.
7. Install LED Lights: Remove the adhesive tape from the LED light strip and carefully stick it to the bottom of the bed side tube as shown in the manual. Connect the power supply.
8. Final Tightening: Once the entire bed structure is assembled, go back and securely tighten all bolts and fasteners.
9. Install Anti-Tipping Device: Secure the bed to the wall using the provided anti-tipping hardware.

• Adjustable Metal Mesh: The metal mesh behind the desk can be adjusted. Place it on the inside of the ladder for a study desk setup, or move it to the outside against the wall to convert the desktop into a bookshelf or maintain it as a study table.
