5. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Platter Installation: Place the stainless steel platter securely onto the scale base. Ensure it sits flat and does not wobble.
  3. Pole Display Assembly: Insert the pole display into the designated slot on the rear of the scale base. Secure it firmly. The cable connecting the pole display to the main unit is typically pre-attached.
  4. Power Connection: Connect the power cable to the scale's power input port and then plug it into a standard electrical outlet.
  5. Initial Charge: If operating on battery, ensure the internal rechargeable battery is fully charged before first use. The battery is shipped disconnected; flip the unit over and connect the battery connector.
  6. Leveling: Adjust the four adjustable feet at the bottom of the scale until the bubble in the level indicator (usually located near the display) is centered. This ensures accurate weighing.

6.5. Price Computing

This function calculates the total price based on the item's weight and a set unit price.

  1. Place the item on the platter. The weight will be displayed.
  2. Using the numeric keypad, enter the price per unit (e.g., price per pound or kilogram).
  3. The scale will automatically calculate and display the total price in the 'TOTAL PRICE' field.
  4. To clear the unit price, press the [CLEAR] button.
