4. Setup

  1. Charge the Units: Before first use, fully charge both the transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX) units using the provided USB Type-C cable. The charging indicator light will show charging status (refer to Section 6 for details).
  2. Connect Transmitter (TX): Plug the Donner CV-2 Transmitter directly into the XLR output of your dynamic microphone. Ensure a secure connection.
  3. Connect Receiver (RX): Plug the Donner CV-2 Receiver into the XLR input of your audio mixer, PA system, audio interface, or camera. Ensure a secure connection.
  4. Power On: Press and hold the power button on both the TX and RX units until the indicator light illuminates. The units will automatically pair. A solid blue light indicates a successful connection.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button on each unit for approximately 2 seconds to turn them on or off.
  2. Pairing: The TX and RX units are pre-paired from the factory. If re-pairing is needed, ensure both units are off. Turn on the TX unit, then turn on the RX unit. They should automatically connect. If not, consult the troubleshooting section.
  3. Indicator Lights:
    • Solid Blue: Working normally, connected.
    • Red Flashing: Low battery.
    • Solid Red (while charging): Charging in progress.
    • Light Off (while charging): Fully charged.

6. Charging

Both the transmitter and receiver units are equipped with built-in rechargeable Lithium Polymer batteries. To charge the units:

  • Connect the provided USB Type-C charging cable to the charging port on each unit.
