Setup

1. Placement and Rotation

Position the projector on a stable, flat surface. The 180° rotatable stand allows you to adjust the projection angle to suit your viewing needs, whether projecting on a wall, ceiling, or screen.

2. Power Connection

Connect the provided power adapter to the projector's power input port and then plug it into a power outlet.

3. Focus Adjustment

After powering on, rotate the focus wheel on the projector to achieve the clearest possible image. Adjust until the projected image is sharp and legible.

4. Keystone Correction

The GM200 projector features automatic keystone correction to adjust the image shape if the projector is not perfectly perpendicular to the screen. Manual adjustments may also be available in the settings menu for fine-tuning.

Operating Instructions

1. Dual Control Mode

The GM200 supports both the included wireless mouse and remote control for navigation. The mouse provides a familiar interface for interacting with the Android TV OS, while the remote offers convenient button-based control.

2. Initial Setup and Android TV OS

Upon first power-on, follow the on-screen prompts to complete the initial setup of the Android TV OS. This includes language selection, network connection, and Google account sign-in. The built-in OS allows direct access to streaming apps like YouTube, Netflix, and Prime Video without an external device.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Gaimoo GM200 projector, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

No Image / Blank Screen
  • Verify the projector is powered on.

  • Ensure the connected device (laptop, TV stick) is powered on and outputting a signal.
  • Adjust the focus wheel.
Blurry Image
  • Adjust the focus wheel until the image is sharp.
  • Ensure the projection surface is flat and smooth.
  • Check the projection distance; it should be within 3-18 feet.
Distorted Image (Trapezoid Shape)
  • The projector has auto keystone correction. If still distorted, manually adjust keystone in settings.
  • Ensure the projector is as perpendicular to the screen as possible.
No Sound / Low Sound
  • Increase the volume on both the projector and the connected source device.
  • If using external speakers, ensure they are properly connected and powered on.
  • Check Bluetooth connection if using wireless audio.
  • Some users report low built-in speaker volume; consider connecting external speakers via Bluetooth or 3.5mm jack for better audio.
Remote Control Not Working
  • Ensure batteries are correctly inserted and not depleted.
  • Point the remote directly at the projector's IR receiver.
  • Remove any obstacles between the remote and the projector.
Wi-Fi Connection Issues
  • Ensure your Wi-Fi router is on and functioning.
  • Re-enter the Wi-Fi password carefully.
  • Move the projector closer to the Wi-Fi router.
  • Restart both the projector and the router.
