Safety Instructions

Always follow basic safety precautions when using power tools to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.

• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE): Always wear safety glasses, dust mask, and hearing protection.
• Secure workpiece: Ensure the material being sanded is firmly clamped or secured to prevent movement.

• Avoid unintentional starting: Ensure the switch is in the off-position before inserting the battery pack.
• Do not overreach: Maintain proper footing and balance at all times.
• Disconnect battery: Always remove the battery pack before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the tool.
• Use the right tool for the job: Do not force a small tool or attachment to do the job of a heavy-duty tool.

Setup

1. Battery Charging

Before first use, fully charge the 2.0Ah Lithium-Ion battery pack. Use only the charger provided with your INGCO sander.

1. Connect the charger to a standard 220-240V~50/60Hz power outlet.
2. Slide the battery pack onto the charger until it clicks into place.
3. Allow the battery to charge until the indicator light on the charger signals a full charge (refer to charger manual for specific light indications).
4. Once charged, remove the battery pack from the charger.

2. Attaching Sandpaper

The sander uses a paper clamp system for easy sandpaper changes. The bottom size is 110mm x 100mm, compatible with standard sandpaper sheets.

1. Ensure the battery pack is removed from the sander.
2. Lift the clamps on both sides of the sanding pad.
3. Insert one end of the sandpaper sheet under one clamp and secure it.
4. Pull the sandpaper taut across the sanding pad and insert the other end under the second clamp, securing it firmly.
5. Ensure the sandpaper is flat and wrinkle-free on the pad.

3. Battery Installation

Once charged, install the battery pack into the sander.

1. Align the battery pack with the battery port on the sander.
2. Slide the battery pack into the port until it clicks securely into place.
3. To remove, press the release button on the battery pack and slide it out.

Operating Instructions

1. Turning On/Off

• To turn the sander ON, slide the power switch to the 'I' (On) position.
• To turn the sander OFF, slide the power switch to the 'O' (Off) position.

2. Sanding Techniques

For best results and to prevent damage to the workpiece or tool:

• Always start the sander before placing it on the workpiece.
• Apply light, even pressure. Let the sander do the work. Excessive pressure can reduce sanding efficiency and damage the motor.
• Move the sander in long, overlapping strokes, following the grain of the wood when applicable.
• Do not sand over nails, screws, or other metal objects.
• Regularly check the sandpaper for wear and replace it when necessary to maintain optimal performance.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your sander.

• Cleaning: After each use, disconnect the battery and clean the tool with a soft, damp cloth. Remove any dust or debris from the ventilation openings. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Dust Collection: If your model includes a dust collection system, empty the dust bag or canister regularly to maintain efficient dust extraction.
• Sanding Pad Inspection: Periodically inspect the sanding pad for wear or damage. Replace if necessary.
• Storage: Store the sander, battery, and charger in a clean, dry place, out of reach of children and away from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures. Ensure the battery is partially charged before long-term storage.
