4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

1. Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
2. Inspect the grinder for any signs of damage. If damaged, do not use and contact customer support.
3. Remove any protective films or packaging materials.

4.2 Initial Cleaning

Before first use, clean the removable collection bowl and grinding chamber with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the exterior of the motor unit with a damp cloth.

4.3 Assembly

1. Ensure the grinding chamber is clean and dry.
2. Place the removable collection bowl securely onto the base of the motor unit.
3. Twist the top part of the grinder (motor unit with grinding chamber) onto the collection bowl until it locks into place. Align the lock indicator on the body with the locked padlock symbol.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Preparing for Grinding

1. Ensure the grinder is unplugged.
2. Unlock and remove the top section of the grinder by twisting it counter-clockwise until the unlock symbol aligns.
3. Add your desired amount of coffee beans, herbs, or spices into the grinding chamber. Do not overfill; ensure the lid can close properly.
4. Replace the top section and twist clockwise until the lock symbol aligns, securing the lid.
5. Plug the grinder into a suitable power outlet.

5.2 Grinding Process

1. Press and hold the power button located on the top of the grinder to begin grinding.
2. Grind until the desired consistency is achieved. For best results, grind in short bursts (5-10 seconds) to prevent overheating and ensure even grinding.
3. Release the power button to stop grinding.
4. Unplug the grinder from the power outlet.
5. Unlock and remove the top section. Carefully remove the collection bowl to access your freshly ground ingredients.

5.3 Grinding Adjustment

The IAGREEA HB-995 offers 5 levels of grinding adjustment. To adjust the coarseness:

1. Ensure the grinder is empty and unplugged.
