3. Setup and Storage

The game set is designed for easy setup and convenient storage of all components.

3.1. Initial Setup

1. Unpack all components from the packaging.
2. The main wooden console serves as the base. The top surface features the Chess/Checkers board.
3. Locate the two reversible slide-out game boards. These boards fit into tracks within the console.
4. The bottom drawer is used to store all game pieces. Ensure all small pieces are kept in their respective bags to prevent loss.

3.2. Accessing Game Boards and Pieces

To play a specific game, gently slide out the relevant game board from its track. If the desired game is on the reverse side, flip the board over and reinsert it. All game pieces are stored in the bottom drawer.

4.1. Chess

Chess is a two-player strategy board game played on a checkered board with 64 squares arranged in an 8×8 grid. Each player begins with 16 pieces: one king, one queen, two rooks, two knights, two bishops, and eight pawns. The objective is to checkmate the opponent's king.

4.2. Checkers

Checkers (also known as Draughts) is a group of strategy board games for two players which involve diagonal moves of uniform game pieces and mandatory captures by jumping over opponent pieces. The objective is to capture all of the opponent's pieces or block them from making any further moves.

4.3. Backgammon

Backgammon is a two-player board game where playing pieces are moved according to the roll of dice. Players win by moving all of their checkers to their own home board and then bearing them off the board. The game involves strategy and luck.

4.4. Chinese Checkers

Chinese Checkers is a strategy board game of German origin that can be played by two, three, four, or six people. The objective is to be the first to race all of one's pieces across the board into the 'home' triangle opposite the starting corner, using single-step moves or moves that jump over other pieces.

4.5. Snakes & Ladders

Snakes & Ladders is a simple race game based on sheer luck, played on a numbered grid. Players move their game pieces according to a die roll, climbing ladders and sliding down snakes to reach the finish square.

4.6. Pachisi

Pachisi is a cross and circle board game that originated in India. It is played with two to four players, with the objective of moving all four of one's pawns from a starting area to a central home area.
