Please read all instructions carefully before using your YASHE Panini Grill Press. Keep this manual for future reference.
General Safety
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- To protect against electrical hazards, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the appliance in water or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
- Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off," then remove plug from wall outlet.
- Do not use appliance for other than intended use.

3. Setup and First Use
Unpacking:
- Carefully remove the appliance and all accessories from the packaging.
- Remove any protective films or stickers.
- Check for any missing accessories or damage.
Before First Use:
- Wipe down the non-stick plates with a clean, damp cloth.
- Dry the plates thoroughly with a soft cloth or paper towel.
- Insert the removable drip tray into its designated slot at the front of the appliance.
- Plug the panini press into a standard 120V electrical outlet. The Power indicator light will illuminate.
- Allow the appliance to preheat until the Ready indicator light illuminates (approximately 3-5 minutes).
- Once preheated, unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely.
- The appliance is now ready for use.
4. Operating Instructions
Using the Panini Press:
- Ensure the drip tray is correctly inserted.
- Plug in the appliance. The Power light will turn on.
- Allow the grill to preheat until the Ready light illuminates.
- For best results, lightly brush the non-stick plates with a small amount of cooking oil or butter before placing food.
- Place your sandwich, panini, or other food item onto the lower grill plate. The floating hinge will adjust to the thickness of your food.
- Gently close the top grill plate. Do not force it down.
- Cook for 3-8 minutes, or until desired browning and internal temperature are reached. Cooking time may vary based on food type and thickness.
- Carefully open the lid using the cool-touch handle. Remove food using a heat-resistant plastic or wooden utensil to avoid damaging the non-stick coating.
- Unplug the appliance after use and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
Using the 180-Degree Open Grill Function:
- Follow steps 1-4 from "Using the Panini Press".
- To open the grill to 180 degrees, locate the hinge release button on the side of the appliance. Press and hold the button while gently pushing the top plate back until it lies flat, creating a larger grilling surface.
- Place food items such as steaks, vegetables, or multiple sandwiches on both grill plates.
- Cook until desired doneness is achieved, flipping food as necessary.
- Once cooking is complete, unplug the appliance and allow it to cool before returning the top plate to the closed position and cleaning.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance
Proper cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your YASHE Panini Grill Press.
Cleaning Instructions:
- Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Remove the drip tray and empty any collected grease. Wash the drip tray in warm, soapy water or place it on the top rack of a dishwasher.
- Wipe the grill plates with a soft, damp cloth or sponge. For stubborn food residue, use a small amount of mild dish soap. Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or metal utensils, as these can damage the non-stick coating.
- Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
- Ensure all parts are thoroughly dry before storing or next use.

6. Storage
The YASHE Panini Grill Press is designed for compact storage.
- Ensure the appliance is completely cool and clean before storing.
- The appliance can be stored horizontally or vertically to save space.
- Wrap the power cord neatly around the cord storage area on the base of the unit.
- Store in a dry, safe place away from direct sunlight and moisture.

7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your YASHE Panini Grill Press, please refer to the following troubleshooting guide:
