5. Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
- Clean Before First Use: Wash all removable trays and the lid with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before assembly. Wipe the base unit with a damp cloth.
- Assemble: Place the base unit on a clean, dry, and stable surface. Stack the desired number of trays onto the base, ensuring they are properly aligned. Place the lid on top.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Preparing Food for Dehydration
Proper food preparation is crucial for successful dehydration:

- Slice Evenly: Cut food into uniform slices (typically 1/4 inch thick) to ensure even drying.
- Pre-treatment (Optional): Some foods benefit from pre-treatment (e.g., blanching vegetables, soaking fruits in lemon juice to prevent browning).
- Arrange on Trays: Place food in a single layer on the mesh trays, ensuring there is space between pieces for optimal airflow. Do not overload trays.

6.2 Setting Temperature and Timer
- Power On: Press the power button (⏻) on the control panel.
- Set Temperature: Press the settings button (⚙) to switch to temperature adjustment mode. Use the up (▲) and down (▼) arrows to set the desired temperature (range: 35-80°C).
- Set Timer: Press the settings button (⚙) again to switch to timer adjustment mode. Use the up (▲) and down (▼) arrows to set the desired drying time (up to 24 hours).
- Start Dehydration: The machine will automatically begin the drying process after a few seconds of inactivity on the control panel, or you can press the power button again to start.

6.3 Recommended Drying Times and Temperatures

7. Maintenance and Cleaning
